Animal Stuff:
I got home and Precious was in my chair! I was under the impression that she couldn't jump. I guess she can if she really wants to. 🙂
Beyonce seems to really like Shadow's room. She's got this spot between the bed and the wall that she seems to enjoy wedging herself into. It's really kind of funny. But hey, whatever floats her boat. LOL
And finally, I'm sure the update you've all been waiting for: Chupa. I am happy to report that I was greeted with a wagging tail. 🙂 I think that being able to rest, and have food and water when she needed it must have done her some good. I gave her some chicken, and she nipped my finger the first time. I think she was just so excited about it, and I can't blame her. But after that, she settled down, and even sat before I gave it to her. I didn't tell her to, she just did. She might be someone's lost baby. I am still not sure about her age - I don't want to get too personal just yet, just in case she's not that ok with me.
When I went over to that house with my can of wet cat food this morning, she growled. When I sat down and opened the can, she wagged a little for me then. I sat the can down, and she came over and started eating. It was sliding, and she was pushing it closer and closer to me trying to get the food out. She's smart - she grabbed it with her teeth a couple of times and pulled it back. I took those photos and talked to her a little bit, but I mostly sat still and quiet. By the time she was done eating, she was close to me. I let her sniff my hand, and she didn't flinch or growl, so I petted down her back. I could feel all of her bones. 🙁 But anyway, she let me pet her. She was kind of parallel to my thigh at that point, so after I petted her a few times, I just scooped her up and headed home. She didn't protest, so I think she realized I was a friend at that point. Poor little thing. ❤
