I wish I didn't live so close...

I wish I didn't live so close to ignorant people who choose to remain that way. They will never see the bigger picture - all they can think about it what makes them happy at the moment - not what's best in the long run. I do hope things work out for them, but I don't see it happening. It's depressing; I tried so hard to be a good example for the teen stuck in the midst of the crap. Looks like it didn't do any good.
