I hope that everyone saw the post that CCACC did not have to put any pets down this Wed. During the month of July they had 109 adoptions and 58 rescues!!! Fantastic work. Thanks to the new Board, to Lisa Weathers, to the Staff and all volunteers!!One thing that the CCACC needs is flea meds. Apparently, the county did not put that in their budget. I did mention it to Tim Hodges at the Ward 1 Forum. His response was not favorable, so I guess the citizens will have to make sure that a governmental agency has the tools to take care of the animals in their care.
