I have so far spent most of my day working on Polish All the Things stuff. I keep track of everything in a spreadsheet, so I updated that after I got all of my photo posting done on here. I know I'm a big nerd, but Excel is my favorite program ever and it helps me see what's selling and where it's selling. Looks like local markets and Facebook are working for me. Etsy seems to be a bust so far. 😕
I have been updating Etsy for the past few hours. OH SO TEDIOUS. And I'm not even done! For the pieces that I can remember I've added the polish names in the titles and descriptions. When I was looking for a hard to find polish on Google the other day an Etsy listing with that polish used in an earring came up, so I thought "Duh. I should do that." For some things that is just not going to happen, but as a general rule I'm going to try to be more diligent about it.
So, I have a list of polishes that I know what they are but not the names, so I'll go and look those up in a bit. And I still need to add the new rings with the plain bands. I haven't even gotten there yet!
I am getting antsy from sitting at the computer, which is just as well because I need to cut some grass. Etsy has been a crazy amount of work today, but I'm hoping it'll pay off. Aside from sharing it around on Facebook does anyone have any suggestions on how I can advertise without being spammy? I think I can pay to advertise within Etsy (and I might), but I don't have the money for that right now. I think that after I get it all updated (either later tonight or tomorrow), I'll create a coupon code and see if that gets anyone's attention. We shall see.
Later, peeps. So much to do, so little time!
