Gonna work on my Etsy a bit.

Well.  Gonna work on my Etsy a bit.  I have ALLLL that new stuff from OxfordFest that I haven't put up anywhere.  It's gonna take me DAYS.  😳

Let me preface this by saying...

Let me preface this by saying that I would never choke my dog, BUT, there are times I just want to string her up, like, "Are you kidding?!  STAHP!!!"

As some of you might remember:  Faith and Lowrider came from the shelter to be my foster dogs at the same time.  They went through a lot together.  Heartworm treatment, spays, all of that.  Needless to say, if it ever looked like I was taking Lowrider somewhere without Faith, Faith was not ok with it.  She would jump the gate, and even jump through the open car window to be with her.  Eventually, I ended up adopting them both.  Faith was too weird and not conventionally cute, so I wasn't super surprised that no one wanted her.  Lowrider, while cute and stubby in her own way, didn't win anyone over on her adoption trips to PetSmart because if I wasn't with her she would sit and not move.  She knew she was my dog long before I did.

Well, a few years ago I had taken in too many dogs and stressed my pack out.  Faith started herding and eventually started fighting Emma, so I moved Emma out of the dog room.  Never thought I'd see the day this happened, but then Faith turned on Lowrider.  So, for a couple of years now I've been crating and rotating to keep everyone safe.  It's not a lot of fun for the humans here, but the dogs don't seem to mind, so we just go with it.  I love both of them and if finding a home didn't go great for them a few years ago I have no reason to believe it would go any better now, so yeah.  We just do what we have to do to make it work.

When Shadow switches the dogs around he usually crates one before letting out the other.  I prefer that he does it that way because it's safer.  Most of the time because I am lazy, I guess, if I am just letting Faith outside to potty I get her by the collar and walk her to the door.  No bigs.  But lately, Lowrider is so happy to see Faith that she just runs all up in her grill, like "Hey bestie I love you let's hang out."  Faith is then like, "I will eat you!" but Lowrider doesn't care.  I think she has long since forgotten the ass whooping that Faith gave her 2 years ago and it drives me crazy.  😳  Really don't run up on the dog who wants to fight you!

It's been a bad car day.

It's been a bad car day.  This is why I almost always ride everywhere with Shaun.

When I tried to go to work my Kia was like, "HAHAHAHA!  NOPE."  I've never had this happen before, but it ground to a halt.  Like, I pushed the gas and it didn't matter.  It wouldn't even roll down hill in neutral.  So I was on Quintard in busy traffic trying desperately to get in the Taco Bell parking lot and my car just quit in their driveway with its ass hanging out in traffic.  It can't even be pushed in.  😳

(YES, before anyone asks and frustrates me further, my foot was off the break, the emergency break was down, and the car was in neutral.  It also had oil, the motor sounded fine, and the gears were shifting properly.  I just don't know what happened.)

SO... we had to wait for a tow truck.  And then they only took cash, which I didn't have and Shaun also didn't have, so we had to go and cash my check, THEN find their office in the ghetto.  Google didn't even know where the place was.  It's like, "Seriously?  This is a lot of fun."

THEN, there was another car I was going to have repaired and the guy quoted me one price to look it over, but then was going to charge me 3 times that amount when I picked it up.  I faxed him a letter basically (nicely) saying "Not cool - I'm not sure if I will do business with you.  If you quote me on repairs I am paying you exactly that.  I am not in a situation where I can afford to be surprised with a higher bill."  Thirty minutes later he called and said for me to just pay the original price and have the car towed away tomorrow.  He doesn't want to work on it and that is really ok.  I feel like that says more about him than it does me.  Anyway, that 2nd car that most of you know nothing about was just stressing me out and I am happy to not deal with it right now.  It is completely not running and would be a much greater expense than the Kia, and I just can't even.  I just had to put that one on hold.  LOL

Anyway, I am so glad to be home.  So, SO happy to be in my house.  The thunder sounds nice, I'm glad it's not raining much, and I'm about to put on some PJ's and head to the couch.  I am DONE with this day.

Well, I THOUGHT I was going to sleep.

Well, I THOUGHT I was going to sleep.  There is a dog up the hill just barking.  Like, totally going ape shit.  I went outside to see if he was ok and he's just standing in the street, barking his head off, looking at nothing in particular.  I don't know what's up with that, but I didn't get too close.  He was unresponsive when I called out to him.

There is an echo... I wonder if he thinks another dog is barking back at him.  Maybe he'll tire out soon.  😕

Not super sure why, but...

Not super sure why, but I'm feeling nauseated again. I'm going to bed. Yuck.

This is PROBABLY my last upload of the day.

This is PROBABLY my last upload of the day.  These are mostly clip-on earrings, because I'd been needing to do some of those, anyway.  Nothing you haven't seen before because these are mostly to match other things, but I thought I'd go ahead and put them up anyway.

Photographing the clip-ons was a HUGE pain and some of those photos might not be as nice.  They kept falling over and driving me crazy.  I finally laid them down in my brick crack and that was ok, but not great.  I'll have to work on those some more.

These are my 12mm rings.
