We are concerned that Bear might have had a seizure last night.

We are concerned that Bear might have had a seizure last night.

We were doing our bedtime routine (medicating and feeding and tucking everyone in, letting the dogs out, etc.) and everything was normal. Afterwards, Shaun wasn't ready to go to sleep so was in his game room downstairs with Cubba; Bear sleeps crated in the dining room near Shaun's game room. I went upstairs to sleep because I was exhausted.

Shaun fell asleep in his recliner with Cub and woke up to Cub jumping out of his lap and a ruckus in Bear's crate. When he checked on Bear, he was laying in his crate like everything was normal. But this morning Shaun found some vomit in the crate and discovered that Bear had wet his bed. We know that accidents happen, but Bear has never once had an accident indoors in the time we've had him. He also doesn't tend to make any noise at all when crated. For a Heeler mix, he is SUPER laid back. I think the only thing that really offends him is the ice dispenser for some reason. 😂

We've set up a camera so we can watch him at night. It will record if there is any movement and save it to the cloud. I hope he didn't have a seizure, but if he did that is ok as long as we can figure out how to manage them. I'm just glad he seemed normal today. I would have never known anything had happened if Shaun hadn't told me and discovered the mess.

Bear likes really soft toys and once in a while will get one of the plushy cat houses and carry it around. I guess he taught Cubba about that because I just confiscated a cat house from Cub with Bear trailing close behind.

The thing about Bear is that when he's REALLY excited, he likes to grab your legs. I guess it's a Heeler thing and we're working on curbing that because he does leave bruises sometimes.

But tell me why this dog just bit my ass. 😂😂😂 I was walking back to my desk and could feel him right on my heels. I assumed he might grab my leg, but he had other plans. It takes A LOT to startle me, but ya boy got me. 😂

For the record I'm fine. He didn't grab me hard. But this is the silly, chaotic energy I need right now. I love that little goblin so much! ❤️

I love my cat, Scar. I love him so much. He's my little boyfriend and he snuggles me all night.

But let me tell you... when he gets up here ready to snuggle and sneezes in my face while simultaneously farting (because he has IBD and can't help it)... That is not my favorite thing he does. My gosh, it's awful. 😂😂😂
