Just got home from the Amanda Palmer show. It was amazing, as usual. 🙂
She had these saxophone players that covered Don't Stop Believing by Journey. And then mid-show, she busted out with some Careless Whisper by George Michael. Loved that! There was also this one song about fish... something about being a bottom feeder. She wore the huge sheet-like thing and crowd surfed. It was pretty. And I really liked that song.
Shadow went, and he had fun. He was bummed that he didn't get to meet her, but maybe next time. Me and Shadow went to the back - we didn't even hang with Shaun. Shaun likes to be up front and close and I kind of prefer the back. Like, so far back that I can see over the crowd. LOL It's easier on my ears and doesn't kill my neck (when I'm up front, I have to look straight up to see anything). And Shadow would have hated all of that, too. There was another lady with a kid in back and it wasn't crowded, but we could see. It was nice. 🙂
Aaand... the icing on my cake: Despite me leaving my poor dogs locked in for all those hours, no one crapped or peed in my floor. I'm about to bring the poor babies in, love them up and go to bed. 🙂
