I have a question for all the uterus-havers out there.  Is there anywhere in the Anniston area that you know of that would insert a Paragard IUD?

I originally wanted one like 10 years ago, but Dr. Daniels ended up talking me into a Mirena.  He WILL NOT place a Paragard because he thinks it causes abortions.  The health department also didn't do those the last time I checked into it.

I have been doing fine with my diaphragms, but I am honestly getting kind of tired of dealing with that.  I enjoyed the freedom of having a Mirena, but the hormones jacked me up and the stiff string stabbed Shaun (enough to leave marks), so I'm not doing that again.

The Paragard is not hormonal and I've read that the strings are softer on it as well so I'd like to give that a shot.  LIKE I WANTED TO 10 YEARS AGO.  I feel like it's about time I get my way.  I will call every OB-GYN in Anniston if I have to, but I am hoping that it doesn't come to that.  So please - if you know of where I can get that done let me know.

Over the last few days I actually was thinking seriously about getting sterilized, but deep down I know that I don't want to do that.  I don't know why, but it just doesn't sit well with me.  I am not ready to take that leap right now.
