I saw a small woodland creature...

I saw a small woodland creature perched upright on the railing of the bridge coming into Oxford from Anniston on 21.  He was barely out of the traffic - looking off into the distance.  I hope he was just enjoying the view and wasn't planning to jump...

I am done with the Interwebs for a while...

I am done with the Interwebs for a while. I'm going to make some chili and be a couch potato with my son. My lower back is still KILLING me from lifting Shaun's pool table. I guess I'm not as invincible as I thought! Must be getting old!  😛

I called to check in on Pixie...

I called to check in on Pixie and though she's still skittish, has had a couple of accidents in the house (probably due to avoiding the rain), and has chewed up a slipper, she is still a keeper so far!  Her new owner is so sweet and kind and patient.  How wonderful!  😃

Just came home and had my day made...

Just came home and had my day made. Check out Chester - now known as Bowski!  He's got it good!  😃  And is getting so big!

We had a nice romp on the farm with Dahlia.

I have to go check myself for ticks - we had a nice romp on the farm with Dahlia. She's doing great and she might get a puppy playmate soon. She would ❤❤❤ that! She's doing so well and looks so happy. She totally remembered us. We'll have to visit again soon!

I woke up at 5:30 am...

I woke up at 5:30 am... Shaun's couch always knocks me out! We have lots of visiting to do tomorrow (today), so the sleep was nice... but Shadow was up playing video games. I hope he's not a grump all day. 😳 I'm probably going back to sleep now. So excited to see baby D! Not so excited to see my MaMaw - she's in a nursing home now. I hear she's not doing so well. 🙁
