Via the Spay/Neuter Coalition:

Via the Spay/Neuter Coalition:

How does spay and neuter have such a HUGE impact? Today we met a family that simply did not spay their female dog in time (due to lack of education about how easily and early she could become pregnant, as well as low cost options available to make it affordable to her). Her female dog had ELEVEN unwanted puppies. One life is quickly TWELVE lives... and this is from ONE animal. These puppies were "given away" before spaying and neutering and they will now continue the cycle as well. This is exactly why our surplus of homeless animals is out of control. PREVENTION has the biggest impact, by a landslide, before there are more unwanted lives brought into our world. Outreach, education and assistance are crucial to save the most lives.

FYI - I'm having a yard sale tomorrow morning.  Mostly, I want to get rid of Shadow's old clothes that don't fit, a few very toys, and my mom is bringing some neat stuff.  I also have a wooden student desk with a hood, light, and roll-y chair - it's not a piece of Wal-Mart crap, either.  So... just putting that out there if anyone needs or wants any of that stuff.

So true!

So true!  And with that being said it's time for me to text up the shortest Veteran I know - my brother!  ❤

So... I was really sleepy and getting ready for bed when Shadow's friend barfed spaghetti in one of the few carpeted rooms in my house.  I just took him home... guess I'm off to clean up vomit now.  I think this is worse than the sleepy friend who missed the toilet and pissed in the floor.  At least that was vinyl tiling.  Blegh.  Kids are SO GROSS!  🙁
