I am DISGUSTED right now.  I just found out that not only did the bill to protect the spay / neuter clinic NOT pass, but also the cock-fighting bill, and the bill to REQUIRE vets to report suspected animal abuse also did not pass.  And this is the kicker:  BESTIALITY IS STILL LEGAL HERE.  Yeah, the bill against that didn't pass, either.  This is BEYOND FUCKED UP.  If you are not already a member, please consider joining Alabama Voters for Responsible Animal Legislation (AVRAL) so that we can get some shit changed.  This is ridiculous!  I am ashamed! 

Felt adventurous tonight...

Felt adventurous tonight so I went to Burger King and ordered the Bacon Sundae.  I didn't eat the whole thing, but I also didn't hate it.  I don't think I'd bother buying another, though.  I'm just not a big meat-eater.  I barely eat bacon on my baked potatoes anymore, much less in ice cream.  Worth trying, though, I think.  🙂

P. S.  Shaun, the meat-eater, did not like it.  LOL

Newspaper Nails!

Newspaper Nails!  This is the second time I've tried it, and this is the best it's come out.  This is supposed to be a really easy nail art thing to do, but it WAS NOT for me.  I don't know what is up with that.  It took me two days of trying with different newspapers and techniques to get it to come out as good as it did - which, btw, I'm not super-thrilled with.  Not for the work and effort I put in.  LOL  Anyway, I've always wanted to try it out, so now I have.  I guess dots are next!  🙂

I did not know this, but I'm not surprised!  I keep my dogs in the house when there are fireworks happening, even though the yard is fenced.  You just never know what some idiots will do.  🙁
