So... now that Harley is getting comfortable here...

So... now that Harley is getting comfortable here he's turning into a little love bug.  😃

The other day after he introduced himself to my cats he hid behind the couch until Shaun rescued him.  He's been loose in my room for a couple of days and he hasn't left again.  😂  He's also not causing a lot of trouble.  He climbs on Bruce's tank - which I don't want him to do and will figure out a way to stop that in the next day or so, but other than that he just plays, naps, and wants to be petted.

When I woke up earlier I sat in the floor near his hide-y little man cave and he stretched and rolled around and let me pet him.  He eventually got up and got in my lap.  But then he'd roll some more (usually right out of my lap) and walk past while rubbing against me a bunch of times.  Then he'd want lap time again.

He's starting to really get into the whole "being petted" business.  He'll gently grab my hands and fingers with his paws.  He rolls and nuzzles and PURRS.  He tried nursing on my pj pants a couple of times and when that didn't work he just settled for licking my hands.  He seems totally blissed out about all of this loving.  It is so cute and awesome.  I'll have to get another video soon.  😃

In the 1st pic Harley was all up in Shaun's beard.  Cats LOVE the beard for some reason.  😂  Next photo, he was getting his little chin rubbed.  3rd, he was hiding his face like a little goofball.  And 4th, yeah.  Loving up the Shaun.  "You know you wanna take me home."  😍

I feel like I can now relate...

I feel like I can now relate to dogs having to behave while attending boring human events. Blegh.

He still runs and hides when you enter a room or he hears a noise, but he's doing better.  He got in my lap on his own for the first time today.  If you sit in the floor he will now come to you without you luring him closer with toys (although toys will speed up the process).

His feet look great so no worries there.  He is officially being a regular kitten - getting into things and playing all the time.

We had to get him out from behind the couch yesterday.  Some of my cats hissed at him and scared him so he hid.  I don't think he's quite ready to be a big cat yet.  He hasn't left my room again, either, so I think he agrees.  🙂

Had Harley out playing in my room and...

Had Harley out playing in my room and he was running around playing noisily, and then suddenly - QUIET.  I just looked around and realized that I didn't know where he was.  Nowhere in my room to be found.

I opened my door, and yep, he can fit through the gap at the bottom.  He has introduced himself to my cats.  I hope to goodness he doesn't have a sickness he can give them.  I'd planned to get him tested before letting him loose with everyone else.  😳

We don't see Anansi much, but...

We don't see Anansi much, but I put a little roach in her tank earlier.  It went down into her burrow.  Now I can see her butt, and it's huge.  I think she ate him.  She is visibly larger than when I brought her home.  I will have to get some new photos soon.  🙂

I never realized how dangerous it was...

I never realized how dangerous it was to drink bottled water until I just almost took a big gulp of acetone instead.

HOLY. COW.

I touched the bottle to my lips before I realized what it was. If I hadn't smelled it I probably would have drank it. 🙁 But I will definitely be more careful. That was... unpleasant.
