Anyone coming to the Chili Cookoff on Cheaha?  I'll be there with my mom and brother.

I'm up wayyy too early on a weekend.  And I was up late last night, too.  I started about 10 necklaces earlier this week and I was going to finish them up last night and have them ready for today, but they are COMPLETELY ruined.  It was a new thing I was trying and I failed miserably.  LOL  No worries - I will get it right and you will see them soon.  Hopefully I can get something done this weekend.  That was just such a huge bummer.  😕

Walked over to the Farmer's Market after work...

Walked over to the Farmer's Market after work to see mom and Cade (and Keith!). Stayed until it was over and helped them pack up. On the way back across the street to work me and Cade scavenged some road candy. We both have full pockets! 😃 (There was a parade for Oxford's homecoming, so there was candy in the streets.) All in all, it was a good night. Kind of nice to not be home making stuff or doing chores for once. 🙂

I have been Pinterest-ing like a mofo.  I think I have to walk away from the computer now.  Literally, my arm hurts.  LOL

So for those of you who didn't know (and I'm betting that's most of you because I haven't really announced it before now), Polish All the Things is getting a make-over.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE the meme, but more people like my jewelry than I ever thought would, so I started feeling like maybe this is getting more serious than I thought, and maybe I should have a more original look.  I do so love it when people recognize the meme and say "Oh, I'm a fan of Hyperbole and a Half, too!"  I think that's great and it's always nice to meet someone who GETS that, but I'm not really trying to freeload off of her recognition.  Plus, there are like, ZERO high-res meme photos, so that's not so great for business cards and banners and the like.  LOL

So, I've got an amazing new logo that I will upload soon.  That thing was a group effort.  LOL  There was one element I knew I wanted, then Shaun threw in an idea I could NOT pass up, and then my graphic design guy put it together in a magical sort of way.  I can't wait to show it to you.  If you are just too curious, check out the new profile pic on my Polish All The Things page for a little preview.  😃

Anyway, I guess that doesn't have much to do with Pinterest except that in lieu of all of this making-over stuff, I thought I should get out there more socially.  SO, I just updated a brand new Pinterest COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY, as well as added some stuff to my Etsy.  I also have a new Twitter, AND I will be working on Instagram, but not tonight.  I got new jewelry parts in, so it's time to play with that instead.
