I was watering plants and fell asleep in my bedroom floor. I haven't been sleeping well lately. My schedule has been pretty messed up but I have been trying (UNsucessfully) to correct it.

My Booty Bear must have missed me because he came and pushed the door open and checked on me. He's my little sidekick and he makes me feel so loved. Now I'm snuggling him on the couch because that's what he gets. 🥰🥰🥰

I was AAALMOST asleep until I just now heard Faith fart in her sleep. It must have scared her awake because she jumped up and ran away and I cannot stop laughing. 😂😂😂 Dogs are amazing. 😛

This is part of the HUGE Texas Nipple Cactus I inherited from Shaun's dad. It was split into 19 different pots, so I chose a few pots to keep for myself and combined them into this one. Considering how bendy and differently - sized (and prickly!) all of the pieces are I'm really proud of how this turned out. I did it all bare-handed. I'm starting to not even be phased by cactus splinters. 😂😂😂

This is the baby Sago Palm I picked up today. I'm so excited to have her. I will repot her soon. ❤️

I picked up a piece of Sago Palm in Southside and Shaun came along for the ride. Ok, I knew the name was "palm" but the lady had a mature one and it's legit a tree! Her largest one was about as tall as I am (so not very 😂). But it was so beautiful and now I have a baby tree!

After that we went to El Tapatio since we'd never been there before. THEN, we went to Pet Supermarket and it was a really nice place. We got to pet some bunnies! OMG, they MELTED my heart! After that we went to Krispy Kreme where I had THE FRESHEST DOUGHNUT EVER. Honestly, it was still warm and SO GOOD! The we shopped around a couple other places and went home. I got a pair of sandals on clearance and I like them a lot.

I feel so good lately. I feel so grateful for my family and I just want to spend time enjoying them.

Also, look at this hottie. Just LOOK AT HIM. He always tries not to smile in pictures but I got one. Haha! I won this round! 😂😂😂 He doesn't like the way he looks with his face shaved, but I think he's handsome either way so I'm going to enjoy this while it lasts! ❤️

Dinorah and I went to the Succulent and Cacti group meeting in Atlanta today...

Dinorah and I went to the Succulent and Cacti group meeting in Atlanta today and it was AWESOME! There was a few people from Alabama there. We were a little late and missed the talk at the beginning, but there was a guy there from Auburn who'd brought some crazy beautiful and large Haworthia and Gasteria to show us. They also had a table of freebie plants and cuttings. This is a photo of our haul after we got them all potted up. I wish I'd known that was a thing because I would have brought some cacti to share. I definitely will next time!

They do meetings and picnics at different places and go on field trips to different nurseries. I am SO PUMPED! I definitely needed this day. 😁💚

I woke up from an ill-timed nap...

I woke up from an ill-timed nap at 8 pm yesterday and I haven't been back to sleep yet. I've been going all day. Took a friend a plant at 9 this morning, had a perfect breakfast with Shaun at Panera, hit a few thrift stores, then stopped home to check on the doggies. Went out a bit later by myself to look for terra cotta pots, but couldn't find any in the size I needed. Went to Lowe's and got a drill bit so I could put drainage holes in the nice pots Shaun bought me the other day, then spent the rest of the day drilling holes, potting plants, and cleaning my room. I JUST NOW sat down to chill. I bet I sleep well tonight! 😂
