Bear is forever trying to squeeze into places he should not, so I wasn't shocked that he tried to get between the sunroom and our outdoor storage box. But I decided to see if he was after anything interesting. Zoom in on the crack. 😂

I feel like such a jerk. March 15th was Shadow's 24th birthday and I didn't say anything to the internet because he's not even on here. I thought "What's the point if he won't even see my post?" But I keep thinking about it and clearly it's just not sitting well with me that I didn't mention the anniversary of such a life-changing and special day.

I think he had a good day despite my lack of public acknowledgement. He wanted Five Guys as his birthday dinner so we had that. He'd asked for some audio recording equipment and he got it. He also asked me to make him some apple/carrot/spinach juice, but he forgot about it and was pleasantly surprised when I made it for him.

It's crazy how time flies. It's hard to believe that he's 24 already. I guess no matter how old he gets I need to make sure I document the day because even if he won't see it, it's important to me.

Sorry for the noise. Calypso was breathing. She has an appointment Thursday because of it. She's been like this her whole life and nothing helps. I'm going to ask about getting her an inhaler.

I don't know what this is aside from probably an Echeveria of some kind. I bought it from Etsy years ago and it's one of my favorite plants.

I'm in the midst of repotting and reorganizing my plants. I had this in a tall pot and it started bending over, so I opted for a longer pot this time. I have the stems and rosettes propped off the dirt with scrap wood I had around. Although that was a functional move to keep it from rotting I think it came out kind of pretty.

I could always chop it up and have babies instead of long plants, but I am really digging the way it looks (for now, at least).

I don't remember what he got excited about, but he got excited and started roaring around the kitchen. Ash was like "Absolutely not" and went after him. She might have smacked his butt fluff (if anything), but he went scrambling and fell on his chin. He does that ALL THE TIME. He's front-heavy somehow. But this time he actually busted his little chin and bled.

Poor boy. He just doesn't have it easy around here. 😂

(He's ok. He didn't bleed much. Shaun cleaned him up with a napkin and he's acting like nothing happened.)
