I knew I heard it, but it was on a different side of the house than usual. It's a pretty one, though!

I went into the greenhouse today...

I went into the greenhouse today and found some of my plants near the door knocked over. We close the doors at night and leave the top windows open for ventilation, so I was confused how anyone was getting in there.

Shaun checked the security camera and found that (while we were out doing errands) Bear pushed through the barrier we put up to keep him out during the day. The barrier and him climbing in is what caused the toppled plants. Nothing else was bothered; I'm pretty sure he was just trying to make his rounds and was determined not to be stopped. He has a little stubborn streak sometimes. He gets it from me. 😂

So we're going to leave it open tomorrow and keep an eye on things. Most of the plants he could get to wouldn't be dangerous for him, just upsetting for me. But I really think he won't mess with anything if I'm not in there working. When "we're" working out there is when he gets mouthy/pawsy. He's gotta do the stuff, too! He loves smelling the plants and pruning leaves and digging in my dirt totes with me. He's so fucking precious. ❤️❤️❤️ He's the biggest helper in the land! 😊

Otherwise, he just likes to make sure that everything in the house and yard is in order, so we're gonna try trusting him to do just that. I think he'll do a good job, just like he did in the house when we started leaving him alone. ❤️

Look at Bear and Harley. Bear likes to chase the cats (when they run; they all know at this point that they're safe and don't have to), but he also just likes them. And the cats are really gentle about letting him know when they done with his attention... Unless he doesn't listen. 😂

Cub is holed up in Shaun's room panicking and shaking. Hopefully, he's in Shaun's lap and getting some small comfort.

Meanwhile, Bear is sleeping without a single fuck given. There could be bombs falling outside and he couldn't care less. But let me get some ice and THAT'S what we're gonna fight about. 🙄

By the way, he also discovered the ceiling fan in the dining room today. He ran around roaring about it for a bit. I don't know how he's been here this long and only JUST TODAY noticed it. 🤦🏻

It's, uh... storming up a storm. 😂 It's been raining HARD for over an hour, complete with thunder and lightning. Usually, any rain/storm passes through rather quickly and you can't even tell it happened an hour later, but we're getting wet up tonight. It's reminding me of Alabama storms.

I bet our arroyos are raging like a river right now!
