The hall floor is laid down - not glued because I'm a mess and need 4 hands to do it.  😂  But it's down, flat, and looking nice.  😃  Shaun did 99% of the work tonight.  Lots of cutting things to fit and I am just not as confident when cutting things because you can't un-cut them.  😳  (That's why I like working in an office - you can save back-ups, and un-do, etc.  LOVE THAT.  Wish life had that option sometimes.)  

Anyway, THEN, he made me dinner which I am about to go and eat.  Don't know when I became the uther-mucking princess, but I sure do feel special.  ❤

Close friends know what I really do.  But I guess most people think it's all fun and games like the first photo.  I only WISH my dogs were that clean and great on a leash all together!

People are wild.

Well, a kid that is not mine just went home.  Shadow called me yesterday at work and said he was at our house.  Nobody asked if he could come - he just got a note from his parents and rode the bus here.  I'd only met him briefly when I picked up Shadow from the dance last week - never met or spoke to his parents or anything.  Who does that?  I could have been a killer or something!  I was annoyed, but I talked to his mom, made sure she had my number, and told her to call me and make plans next time.  And no, I don't think Shadow planned that behind my back - all he has to do is ask.  Aside from that he told me after the dance that he didn't want him to come over - they are not very close friends.  Shadow takes after me and is not a social butterfly.  He likes a few good friends and those are the ones he wants to spend his time with.

I just thought that was crazy.  I would NEVER send Shadow away without having met who he would be with!

I've...

I've removed my nail polish, trimmed and shaped my nails, and showered.  Guess I can finally call it a night!  No painting for me - I'm exhausted.  Would probably jack them up tomorrow working more, anyway.  Poor little things - they are nothing but nubs now!  Oh well.  Like hair - they grow back and it's just not a big deal.  Trim and cut and shave away!  😃

And... the hall floor is ripped up.  I guess I'm that much closer to getting the new floor down.  🙂  Just FYI for anyone who might be thinking of putting vinyl tiles down - they are nice looking, yes, but are harder to put down than a vinyl sheet, and REALLY DAMN HARD to pull back up.  Also, the cracks - I hate the cracks.  😳

So, Shaun and Shadow both seemed shocked that I didn't have a hand full of different patterns on today. LOL But I'm done swatching my big plates, so I'mma do what I want! This image is from a smaller plate and it's the first time I've used it. I think it looks really neat - like graffiti or something. I knew there was no way that I could make them all look the same, so I intentionally stamped in all different directions. I like how it turned out - they are just a wee bit wild! 🙂
