Just cleaned and re-arranged the dragon babies' houses.  They seem interested and happy.  😃

Also, I have no idea if I used "babies'" correctly there.  I think I did, but I can't just leave that alone in my head.  LOL  Two babies, two different habitats.  English is hard.  😳

I just laughed so hard.  Me and Shadow were at Shaun's watching TV, and Shadow fell asleep on the couch.  So I woke up him and told him to get ready to go.  So he goes to the door, puts his shoes on, and then picks up a pair of Shaun's shoes, and is just standing there, waiting to leave.  So we had the following conversation:

Me:  Shadow, what are you holding?  (I didn't know at this point what he had.)

Shadow:  What?

Me:  What's in your hand?  (Shaun turns on the lamp, and he's holding shoes.)  Are you wearing your shoes?  (Shadow and Shaun have similar shoes and it was still dark, so I wasn't sure if he had them on or was just going to carry them for some reason.)

Shadow:  No.  (But I touched his foot with my foot and he totally was wearing shoes.)

Me:  What are you doing?  I think you have Shaun's shoes.

Shadow:  Um.

Me:  Put those down.  Those are Shaun's.

So he put them down.  Apparently, he was sleepy enough to steal Shaun's shoes.  What the hell?  He was SO not coherent.  It was fucking hilarious and really bizarre.  That just totally made my night.  😃

I wanted bugs last night. And nature.

I wanted bugs last night.  And nature.  Didn't even consider how springy these would look when I was done.  Now I'm tired of them already.  LOL  I have no other ideas, and I'm too tired to paint tonight, so I guess I'll keep them a few days.  Oh well.  I think they're cute, even if they aren't what I'm in the mood for.  🙂

I was up wayyy too late with all the election stuff.  Got up wayyy too early to take Shadow to school.  Stayed wayyy too late at work because I rode with Shaun.  (I don't drive when it's wet-ish out.  Bald tires + wet roads = me sliding all over the damn place.)

Now I'm home, but it's not even a relief.  I've had my fish water tested twice this week, and after treating it, it's gotten worse.  My nitrates have gone from 80 to 200 in like, two days, and the junk I put in there was supposed to bring it DOWN.  I don't have a damn clue how to fix that, and I'm worried about my fish - all two of them that are left.  🙁  I'm going to try to change some of the water and see if that helps.  But it is SO not easy to do that by myself.  😕

I was so tired when I got here that I took Shadow to McDonald's to get a burger.  I almost never do that.  The girl at the drive-thru asked me if I wanted a Coke.  I was like, "You just want to give me one?" and she was like, "Yeah."  So I took it.  I've been trying to lay off the sugar and caffeine, but it was FREE.  Really hard to refuse that.  I have eaten so much candy and shit this week.  I'm gonna have to get back on track.  I'm not a garbage disposal.

Also, I could really use some me + Shaun time.  We watched the election stuff last night, but we were both involved in that and doing our nails.  Didn't feel like quality time.  And so far, the rest of this week hasn't provided an opening.  What a BUMMER.  🙁
