Note to self:

Note to self:  Textured polish is just too interesting to a squirrel.  Great way to get your nails ripped off.

No, Dump didn't rip my nails off, but man, he was pulling and biting, and fussing at ME when I scolded him.  Had to cut playtime short.  Might have to go and re-do my nails.  For safety purposes.  LOL

Some Pics

Up top, Mona in her secret sleepy hidey spot. It's under a shelf. Forgive me for the dust and cobwebs.

Bottom picture: The epic stink eye we get when we remove her from her secret sleepy hidey spot to put her to bed.

Opossum pics

Runt baby Barney about to climb up in my lap. His brother Fred is much less adventurous and social. Fred wouldn't even come out for a grape. He just took it and ran back inside his house. LOL

Barney (that's him in both photos) has a happy face because he's eating a grape that he found in the wilds of the kitchen floor. LOL He's funny. Fred ate the whole thing, but Barney chewed forever and then spit out the skin. 😛

I had no idea that mint green and red was a thing...

I had no idea that mint green and red was a thing until Mo told me, but I guess it is. Google says so, if you don't believe her. In a thousand years I probably never would have thought of this. LOL So thank you, Mo, for helping me with color. That is something I always need help with.

So I know those are not my most creative nails, but my mint green is a textured polish, so that limits what I can do with it. Maybe I'll topcoat them later to see how they do, but you generally aren't supposed to do that because then you can't feel the texture.

Obviously, I did not paint lines that straight on my own. Tape was the magic behind these nails. 😉

Got my Shadow back! 🙂

Got my Shadow back! 🙂

Everyone with dogs needs to know how to do this.

Everyone with dogs needs to know how to do this, JUST IN CASE.  I have used the lease method on large dogs and I was able to manage it by myself.  You don't actually need a fancy leash - a regular one will do the trick.  Just loop the clippy end through the handle, then you can clip it anywhere or slam it in a door.  Bonus there is that it will tighten on them if they continue to pull.

All in all, so far, so good today. 😃

All in all, so far, so good today.  😃

Video chatted with someone I miss.  Might get to see her soon, so FUCK YEAH.  😃

Only slightly crampy once in a while.  I can deal, un-medicated.  Just like I like it.

Been playing video games all day.  True dork over here.  😛

Hung out with the critters and took M-ah-J to the park for a walk.  She was pretty good and didn't even drag me all over the place.  🙂  That was nice.

Got home and showered.  I guess it's nail time.  I feel like I'm gonna let Mona loose while I do my nails.  She was just laying there in her cage, napping.  Gave me the stink eye when I opened it to check on her.  She'd probably like to run around and find a dark place to sleep, just so I can wake her up and piss her off later.  LOL  Seems to be our thing.

If I have time after Mona falls asleep I might even paint Tey's nails.  She likes to hang out, but the girls can't see each other.  It makes Mona crazy.  As if she's not crazy enough already.  😛

Later, Internet.  I have important things to do.  😉
