Went to Wal-Mart to look for a certain Revlon polish...

Went to Wal-Mart to look for a certain Revlon polish that's only available for the month of July.  Didn't find it.  HOWEVER, I saw some other pretty cool stuff.  They now have more interesting decals, striping tape, nail tattoos, and nail foils.  I picked up a few new things.  Hopefully, they aren't just crap.  We shall see!  😃

I was supposed to hang out with Shaun and do nails last night.  But I was just SO TIRED.  I crashed out early and slept like a rock.  😃  Woke up early (before my alarm even went off) and I feel pretty good.

Well, I'm bummed out.

Well, I'm bummed out.  I let Howie out to use the bathroom this morning, and he seems to have escaped my fence.  I can't find him anywhere in my neighborhood.  He couldn't have gone far.  Maybe I should go back to Wal-Mart!

In all seriousness, I'm frustrated with myself.  I've had dogs escape before, so I should have known to keep my eyes right on him.  But they usually don't leave unless they are out for long periods - I've never had one leave on a bathroom break!

I hope he's ok.  🙁  Saks, keep your eyes peeled!

I got a little mockingbird fledgling.  He'll probably only need to be with me for a few days.  His name is Edgar.  Little baby birds who are getting their feathers are the damn cutest thing I've ever seen.  LOL  I'll get photos of him tomorrow, as well as better ones of Howie.  ❤

I'm heading to bed.  Today wasn't bad, but it definitely didn't go as planned.  Leave it to me to let animals change my plans.  LOL

I really wanted to do my nails this evening.  I finally got some stamping plates I'd ordered a while back.  I'm SUPER EXCITED about them.  😃  Maybe I'll get to do my nails tomorrow.  Maybe Shaun can come over and do his, too.  He hasn't done his in a while.

I didn't have a lot of time to wind down today, but I did get a lot done.  I went back to Wal-Mart for my groceries after I got Howie settled, and I also got some laundry and the dishes done.  Go me!

I guess the highlight of my day was Chesscake.  Yes, Chesscake.  It's something that Peerless makes once in a while, and it is FUCKING DELICIOUS.  You should go there and get a piece before it's gone.
