I spent my evening dog-washing.

I spent my evening dog-washing.  Emma had fleas so she got a flea bath.  She was also stinky - which sucks because she doesn't understand "personal space" so it was just time to bathe her.

I have one other dog (my little stinky Booka) that DESPERATELY needed washing.  He smelled like rotten arm pits.  He will smell that way again by the time the weekend is over, I'm sure.  I don't know how he manages that.  😂  When I was rinsing him the water looked like chocolate milk it had so much dirt in it.  NONE of my other dogs get like that.  He's just gross!  LOL  And much to my surprise the little stink butt didn't have a single flea on him.  I have seen him scratching, but not the other dogs who live in close quarters with him.  I think he must have a skin allergy of some sort.  Or maybe he was just so dirty that he itched.  I pulled all kinds of plants out of his fur.  He looked like a little hobo dog.  I am a bad mom for letting him get in that shape.  I really should wash him at least every other week.  I guess I could - he actually likes it.  His favorite part is the towels at the end.  😃

Yesterday was Bruce's eating day.

Yesterday was Bruce's eating day.  I thawed a rat I bought from Petco since some of the brand that PetSmart is carrying was recalled and I gave it to him.  Bruce still hasn't eaten the rat today.

What does this mean, and what do I do?

Having one of those crappy days.  Woke up with a headache, sort of nauseated, and my face is broken out like I'm back in high school.  Yay hormones?

Heading to work.  Wish me a productive day.

Planning a stop at the post office on my lunch break - TO MAIL MY FIRST ETSY ORDER.  So that's something to look forward to.  🙂

I saw a live armadillo!

I saw a live armadillo on my way home from Munford yesterday evening. First time ever seeing one of those not run over. I thought it was a mini pig so I pulled over, then got close enough to tell it wasn't really a pig. Very neat. 🙂

Before I left Munford I got to check out my brother's new baby. It is an AR-15. He let me shoot it. I lost my hearing for about two seconds, but I'm ok now. I know that a lot of you don't like guns, but I do. I feel safer when I know I could easily protect myself if it came down to it. As cool as that gun was I think I will just stick with something small. I need a little handgun with a laser on it. I especially liked the laser sight. 😃

Went to Petco in Gadsden today and found a spider I wanted. Would have totally gotten it if it wasn't $150. It was on sale from $175. It was one that gets really large. Something with "bird eater" in the name, though they don't have to eat birds.

Tonight I am going to sit down and do my nails. I have completely neglected them for all of this polish jewelry stuff. 🙁 It's been over a month since I've done anything photo-worthy to them. 🙁 Since I haven't done my nails I haven't posted on Happy Nails and I don't really need to neglect that page if I still want to do nails (which I do). So, I'm going to try to make it a point to do nice things to my nails at least once a week.

On the polish jewelry - I haven't had any luck with my Etsy page yet. I know it's new and doesn't have a lot of stuff on it yet so I will give it time. I think I will make about two more weeks of stuff and then upload all of it and maybe pay for some cheap advertising to see if I can get it going. In the mean time, if you haven't liked / shared it you totally should do that for me. Here are the links:  Etsy and Facebook. Any extra money I can make in the summer helps out a lot because we're only working 4 days at SCM until August-ish. As much as I love the extra day off money gets tight - especially with so many mouths to feed and all that.
