Weird day.

Weird day.  Got up and did animal stuff.  Thankfully that went ok.  My car almost didn't get us there, but then it did.  Phew.  Keep an eye on your oil, kids!

Came home, had some lunch with Shaun, then promptly passed out on the couch.  It's been ages since we napped together, but it's one of my favorite things.  ❤

Now it's late in the day and I'm energetic, but that's ok.  There are some things I've been meaning to do inside the house, so I think I will do them.  My hall in particular.  I'm kind of psyched to finish touching up the paint and put the trim back.  Meant to do that over vacation but then I just didn't.

I also did not photograph my new jewelry today, but I don't care.  I'll do it when I feel like it.  LOL  I did, however, have a nail idea I'm gonna do, so I'm pretty excited about that.

The only other thing that is noteworthy is that Aunt Flo showed up today - 9 days late.  I still wonder what the hold up was, but either way I'm happy to see her.  Am I the only female out there who enjoys this?  LOL

Vet trip today!

Took Nappy for her rabies shot so she can get her hair did on Monday.  Poor girl is so hot.  She's indoors, but that doesn't seem to matter.  She weighs 114 lbs now, so me and home girl need to get walking.  I just hate to make her walk because she needs another hip surgery.  But I'm sure it's good for her to do as long as we don't over-do it.

Also took Harley to the vet because he needed some things done.  It was time for shots and I needed to know his HIV status since he's integrated himself with my cats.  His tests were negative, thank goodness.  Except for worms.  He has worms and I suspected as much because he hasn't gained any weight since being here.  You can still see / feel his little hip bones.  🙁  But he was medicated for that, as well, so he should start gaining soon.  He goes back for a re-check and more shots in about 3 weeks.  Then I'll work on getting him neutered and he'll be ready for his forever home.  Which has not been decided is here, just FYI.  😃

No nail pics today.  I'm tired and don't feel so great, so I am calling it a night soon.

Today at work I started having some serious pain in my guts.  If I sat up too straight my uterus and all the way down through my vag would just have these awful shooting, stabby pains.  Same when I had to pee - I just felt like crying.  I still haven't gotten my period, either, and if I had to describe it I'd say that I feel as though I have constipation of the uterus.  It just feels so tender and it was so bad earlier that it hurt to have any pressure on the front of my pelvis.  So I decided I had to go and see my coochie doctor, like, right then.  Thank goodness he was up for working me in.

He did a blood pregnancy test on me and it was negative, so no worries about an ectopic pregnancy, thank goodness.  He didn't say anything about my period being late - except that it's not THAT late and I guess he's probably seen worse so I am going to try not to worry about it.  My schedule WAS wayyy off for two weeks, so it's not like there is no reason at all it could be late.  He wanted to test my blood for diseases and even though I'm sure I'm clean I told him to go ahead - just to rule it out.

What he DID find, which I found to be completely bizarre, is yeast.  YEAST.  I have had exactly ZERO symptoms of having a yeast infection.  I think that usually a girl knows when she's got a yeastie because it's hell in her pants.  So yeah.  I have no idea how long that's been going on.  I don't know how long you have to have one or how bad it has to get to start causing pain like that.  I think I'd rather have the itchy / burn-y so I know to do something about it right away.  This one was sneaky.  🙁

Anyway, I have some pills to take and I took one around 5 and can already sit up straight and pee without being sad, so that's improvement.  I'm still really tired and nauseated, though - probably because my body is fighting off stuff.  I imagine that I'll be feeling a lot better tomorrow after a good night's sleep.  I am so thankful that it was something simple and easy to treat.  With the pain I was in earlier I was getting scared.

Has anyone else ever experienced a stealth yeastie?  If so, how did you find out you had it?

Today was my first day back at work...

Today was my first day back at work after doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for two weeks.  I have felt pretty crappy the last few days, but I think work was a nice distraction.  Also I was productive, so that's cool.

I had a thousand things I was gonna do this evening, but I'm wayyy too tired.  I'm gonna cut that list down to about 3 and then call it a night.  I feel like I need to rest.

I have some new nails to post, but I'll save them for tomorrow.  Also, I have some jewelry made... not a LOT, but some things.  Neither the nails or the jewelry are super spectacular, but they're cute.  It'll probably be the weekend before I get any jewelry pics up.
