Tornado Dog

My newest foster, Gust - one of the tornado dogs.

ADOPTED 06/22/11 - This is Gust, one of the unfortunate displaced tornado dogs.  He's a sweet, friendly guy.  He's learned to use the doggie door (with the coaxing of some treats) and can sit on command.  He was found with a red collar but no tag.  I feel pretty sure he must have been someone's dog, but no one has claimed him.  🙁
And yeah, I know, I'm a dirty girl.  I spent time with my fur-kids today, and it was fun.  Nothing a shower won't fix.  🙂

❤❤❤

Gust winking.  😉  Love that widow's peak.  He's beautiful and has been smiling all day.  I think he's glad to be in a home and off the streets.

I have had a busy day.

I have had a busy day. Me and Shaun moved the g-pigs to a bigger cage and the parakeets to a palace!  They've got a cage taller than me now! It was my old ferret cage - two stories with ramps. Take all the ramps and dividers out and two little birdies have room to FLY! 😃 Unfortunately, my little cripple seems to not be able to. Maybe with space to exercise and time...

I have a dilemma:

I have a dilemma:  To shave or not to shave my big curly black dog.  After she got over the mange her coat didn't come back like before.  It's hot anyway.  Thinking of shaving her and starting over...  Thoughts?

I just brushed Gust...

I just brushed Gust (my tornado foster) and he's settling in nicely.  Still looks bewildered at the doggie door, but he's getting along with everyone and just chilling out in the floor.  Sweet guy.  Pictures soon (he's got a neat face)!

I wore my bra wrong most of the day.

I wore my bra wrong most of the day. I wondered why it hurt. In happier news:  I'm going to drink some chocolate milk now.

I need some clothes for a growing kid!

I need some clothes for a growing kid!  Anyone got any old boys 14 - 16 jeans they need to get rid of?  I would gladly pay for them - I'm just reluctant to buy anything new because he's growing so fast.  I feel fairly certain that I will be outgrown by the time he starts 6th grade.  😳
