Finally got the sales from the S.A.V.E. event tallied up!

Finally got the sales from the S.A.V.E. event tallied up!  We exceeded our previous estimate of $1500 - our donation is for $1655!  I don't think any of the volunteers or SCM workers knew what to expect.  We are all quite pleased with how that went!  I hope we can do it again sometime!  ❤

I have met Carly several times...

I have met Carly several times - even when she was much younger.  She's a wonderful, beautiful girl.  It makes me really sad that she's lived her whole life in the shelter so far.  But I'm glad that we do have a place that fights so hard to keep them and give them a chance to find a forever home.

We did something positive tonight. 😃 I've never seen so many people crammed in our little studio. It was fun, though, and it looks like we raised $1500 for S.A.V.E.! 😃 If you missed it, you missed out. Thank you, Millie, Leigh, and Margaret for being up for doing the event! Thank you, Jeni, for being the cashier for hours - you were a life-saver.  And SUPER THANK YOU to my awesome boss, Sarah Cavender, because it couldn't have happened without you!  😃

I love...

I love having someone to get a biscuit for in the morning.  And I love having that favor returned.  Shaun is the AWESOME because we do that.  Hardee's - here I come!  🙂

😂  On a related note I haven't even had time to do my nails since the fairies.  But they're still (much to my surprise!) on and looking fine.  Must have been the new base coat I used.  It's awesome.  🙂

I had a lovely dinner at Ruby Tuesday...

I had a lovely dinner at Ruby Tuesday with just the Shaun.  I love Shadow, but it's nice to have some alone time.  I was so hungry that I ate all of my food - plus some Tiramisu.  I'm good, but I could use more cake (as always).  😂

Now I'm off to dry some laundry and wedge my new polishes into my box.  I will have to buy another one next week for sure.  I'm accumulating quite the collection!  Really, I need a better way to store it all.  Plastic totes taking up space isn't the best idea.  Maybe some kind of shelf...
