In other news...

Just did some impulse nail polish shopping at KMart.  Bought some of the more expensive ones that I don't normally get because they are on sale.  I'll be keeping my eyes on their polishes to see if they continue to cheapen them.  I'm excited about that!

In other news I've spent most of my weekend working around the house and chilling with the animals.  Just what I needed.  🙂  Two funny things:

1)  Scooter (one of my doggies) was with me on the couch next to my left leg.  Balthazar (the cat) just came right up to him and wanted to rub on him and snuggle.  Scoot was obviously very uncomfortable with that because he was all the way in my lap before he gave up his spot and left the couch altogether.  Apparently I've got two cats who really, REALLY like dogs.  The other kicks their asses.  But two really like them whether it's reciprocated or not.  It's kind of funny.  😛

2)  Pomona has spent most of her day running around in the game room.  I finally just propped open her cage so she could come and go as she pleased.  She wanted to go in and out.  I think she was cooling off as she explored and wanted back up under her light.  Anyway, this is the lizard that licked Emma on their first meeting.  She's not really afraid of the dog at all.  So she's going around, climbing things, licking things, doing lizard things, when she finds Em's bone.  Emma has been cool with her all day... right up until Pomona started licking her bone.  You could just see Em's face:  "What the hell does she think she's doing?!"  😂  She jumped up and grunted at her and nudged her until she ran away.  Emma's so good with everyone.  She was gentle about it even if she wasn't happy.  I have the best kids.  ❤

Also, Teyla ate a record 50-ish crickets in one sitting.  I think I'm gonna go online and order them some different bugs soon.  YUM!  🙂

I'm only about half-way finished cleaning the dogs' room.  I just need a break.  There was so much dirt in the floor that sweeping turned out to be a bad idea.  I've since just decided to hose the floor down and suck it up with a shop vac.

I hate rainy weather.  😳  The mud that comes in on the dogs dries up to be a stupid amount of DIRT.  Yuck.

Aaand... Good enough.

I am fucking tired.  😂  But the dirt is up out of the dog floor, the lizards have nice clean spaces, the rest of the house is ok, and I feel accomplished.

Now it's time to repair that nail I just split, take a nice, long, HOT shower, and take Shadow's friend home.  Hopefully, it will be time to eat after that.  Phew!

As much as I wish I could just hang out and relax today...

As much as I wish I could just hang out and relax today I know that just isn't possible.  My house is a wreck so I have to fix that.  There is no relaxing when my space is all jacked.

Not only that I have an extra child in the house.  Even though he isn't any trouble I just feel... uneasy.  I'm really not a kid person.  😳  I don't know WHY they like to come over here.  😐

I'm looking forward to the point today when I can look at my house, say "good enough," and take that kid home.  Then I will shower, I will do my nails, I will eat dinner at Baja, and I will be happy.

Time to get things going!  🙂

I got up to let the dogs out this morning and found that I left Scooter out all night.  🙁  Though he probably enjoyed that I feel really bad.  I'm glad it wasn't raining, at least.  😳

I was wayyy too tired and crappy last night.  Bad Blu.  🙁
