So... me and Shaun have not been to sleep yet.  That is not as sexy as it sounds, but I did have fun!

He stayed up working on my bike - putting on my new shifters.  I cleaned my roach tote all by myself.  We accomplished things!  😃

I took out almost all of the man roaches because they can fight and stress the females.  I will feed them to my lizards - unless anyone else needs them.  I am GOOD on roaches.  🙂  For the first time ever in real life I got to see how roach babies are made.  I have some pretty cool photos.  I will upload them, hopefully sometime this weekend.

Anyway... I think that it is about time for me to call it a night.  At almost 7 am.  😛

Got my bike back from Dick's.  It is supposedly all fixed up, but it's dark and rainy so I haven't tried it.  Maybe this weekend...

My ass bruise is fading.  It still hurts, though.

He auditioned for the talent show at school, but he wouldn't tell me what he was doing.  I had a feeling that he was gonna beatbox because he's been practicing like crazy and he's really good - from what I've heard.  I've heard pieces of it here and there, and he's showed / told me how he does some of the noises, but he won't like, give me a proper demo.  He's being really shy about it.  LOL

Anyway, me and Shaun went out to dinner in Saks tonight and ran into one of the judges - another student at his school.  She told me that he did beatbox and that he really wow'd the judges.  😃  I don't know if he's in the talent show or not, but I am really glad to hear that he did so great.  He will find out this coming week if he's in or not.

He made it a point to tell me that the talent show was also a dance (which the student confirmed), and he made sure to tell me that I wasn't allowed to go, so I won't get to see him do it.  🙁  I am pretty bummed out, but I am hoping that someone will get a recording of the talent show if he's in.  I think it will be pretty cool and I hate that I won't get to see it.

So... just to re-iterate - he does NOT want me to know what he's doing.  If any of you people go back and tell him that I know I will hunt you down and put you on my blacklist of people who don't get to see my secret updates.  If you think I'm kidding, damn try me.  Once I don't trust you - you are basically dead to me.  I don't play around with my trust.

One or none.  The government can not legally and SHOULD NOT promote one religion over the other.  I wish every religion would jump on this.

A friend's post just reminded me that this existed, so I'm sharing.

This is Shadow on Bourbon Street in NOLA when he was 2 or 3 years old.  I took him to Mardi Gras and we only went out in the day.  Surprisingly kid-friend when the sun was up, which was fine with me.  I did not go back out for the craziness.  LOL

He ended up with so many beads he could barely walk - just from strolling through the city.  I had to carry them for him.  People would just give them to him because he was adorable, but some people eventually got him to flash his belly.  LOL  Someone walking by just stuck that hat on his head and kept going.  🙂

Neat place, but smelly and wet and gross.  Cool to visit, though.

It's hard to believe my boy was ever that small.  He's bigger than me now!

Called Dick's this morning.  Supposedly, my bike is repaired.  New tube in the rear tire.  Adjusted the derailer in the back and also adjusted my brakes.

I hope it's all for real.  I don't have my hopes up, but we'll see.

Ok, cat people...

Ok, cat people - what is the best wet food for an older cat?  Precious is losing weight so I've been putting down wet food for her every day.  But it's just the cheap wet stuff from Wal-Mart.  I don't think I can afford to feed her like, Science Diet every day or whatever, but I don't want to feed her crappy Wal-Mart food, either.  My cats are on Diamond.  I've never seen a wet food by them, but maybe it's only because I haven't looked?

For the record she seems healthy and fine otherwise.  I just think she might not be into having only dry food all the time.  Her teeth and mouth look ok...
