Water Marbled stones I didn't get to post this morning.

Water Marbled stones I didn't get to post this morning.

If you want it, tag it to claim it and let me know what kind of jewelry you want it in. These are one of a kind. My friends get first choice. 🙂 Otherwise, I'll set them how I fancy and sell them where ever I can.

Those top two that are lonesome... I'm thinking I'll wipe those off and start over. I'm not a huge fan. I liked the black and white at first, but the light pink shimmer almost makes it look dingy. 🙁 I think the very top flame is also too dark. Let me know what you think, and be honest. I'm extremely critical of myself and my work, so you'll probably be a lot nicer to me than I would. That is for real. LOL

So tired. Heading to bed.

So tired.  Heading to bed.

I have water marbled 12 more stones.  I even have some rainbows!  There are a couple that I am VERY happy with.  😃  I will try to get a photo up in the morning.  They are all drying tonight, so I can't flip them over just yet.

I tried to marble another gray for you, Keri.  It's close, but definitely not the same.  If you don't like it, no worries.  But if you do, you got dibs.  🙂  I'll tag you to make sure you see it.  🙂

I am so freakin' excited for my jewelry parts to come in.  Y'all have no idea - I've got probably close to 150 stones painted and ready to be set.  That will more than double the amount of stuff I have to list on my stores and take to the markets.  😃  And there are some things that I'm really excited about.

Anyway, I guess I am done rambling.  It's wayyy late and I have to work in the morning.  I am so ready for a long weekend!

So glad I bought Ramen Noodles last night.

So glad I bought Ramen Noodles last night.  I just ate some Tums and Ramen (not mixed together!  LOL), and I feel less wobblefloppy in my guts.

Heading to work, y'all.  Still dealing with a slight headache, but I think I can be functional.

On a brighter note... Shaun's birthday present was delivered a few minutes ago.  😃😃😃

I feel like complete and utter crap this morning.

I feel like complete and utter crap this morning. My stomach is blegh and my head hurts. I took some Ibuprofen and am trying to get myself together so I can go to work.

Since I am just sitting here trying to figure out what my whole self is doing I thought I'd share a photo with you. These exist because of Keri. I'd considered water marbling stones before, but I was like, "Nah, it's hard, and a lot of trial and error, and you can't really duplicate them easily..." Like, I had a whole list of reasons why I would never do this. LOL But Keri said that they would be pretty, so I guess that trumped all of my negatives. Haha.

This is two evenings worth of work. These are a bit time-consuming, so I'll have to charge a little more for whatever they are used in, but I think that's ok.

These are all one of a kind. I think that all of my water marbles might be. Two of them are spoken for so if you see something you like - speak now or forever hold your peace. If you want to tag yourself on one you want that would be awesome. (I am not entirely sure you can do that... but I hope you can. LOL If not, just leave me a comment. First come, first served. I don't know a better way to do that.) I think that next time I will line them up in rows. 😳

These stones are 18mm, so they are good for a large ring or small necklace pendant. I have the pretty filigree ring bands in silver and brass right now, but in another 2 weeks or so I should also have them in black and copper. I have no necklace things yet, but soon, and they will be available in silver, brass, copper, and black, as well.

For the rings, I was going to charge $15 for these. My friends can get them for $10, though, because I hate taking your money. LOL If you need to reserve one for a necklace I have NO CLUE what I would charge for that yet, but I'm sure it wouldn't be a ton.

Anyway, let me know what you think. I am pretty happy with them, but if they aren't a hit I can just clean these cabs off and use them for something else.

Hey Internet, I need your help with something.

Hey Internet, I need your help with something.  A friend of mine had shitty person do a shitty thing to make a shitty situation even worse... and long story short the family needs help with food for the next two weeks.

I don't have a whole lot to give, but I am trying where I can.  Would anyone out there be willing to pitch in?  I believe that money or food either one would be gratefully accepted.

If so, donations can be dropped of with me at work (500 Main Street in Oxford) Monday - Friday from 10 - 6.  I could possibly meet people after work hours in the Saks area, but my car is mostly not working so I can't promise it.

Thanks in advance.  ❤

Went to the post office on my lunch break today...

Went to the post office on my lunch break today. The older guy behind the counter hit on me, I think. He said something about us getting one cream one day after telling me a joke about a T Rex. Because I'm not super great at thinking fast I was like "Um, ok."

My plan after that was to not go back there for a while, but I got a notice in my mail box today that someone sent me a package and I have to pay some postage on it before I can have it. Seeing as how I have jewelry supplies on order I think I can't risk not picking it up. So... I will go back tomorrow. Maybe I will get Shaun to go in with me.

Of course I thought of this after I was outside, but I should have said "I'm sorry, but I'm lactose intolerant." That's for real, bee tea dubs. I can't have I've cream without getting sick, usually. 🙁 That's a good excuse that is not a lie, but he could always think of something else to do, I guess.

This also happened, which might up the creep factor in all of this:  He made it a point to read my name and say it out loud. It's not exactly common, so I bet he remembers it. 😳

Went to Six Flags today...

Went to Six Flags today with Shaun, Cade, Shadow, and one of his friends.  Had a pretty good time.  My brother had never even been, so... it was time.  🙂

For my brother's first roller coaster we rode the Goliath because we are crazy, I guess.  Got a pretty epic photo of me clutching my glasses / hiding my face.  Shaun was super pumped - with the arm I wasn't clinging to for dear life up in the air like he just didn't care, and Cade looked completely unconcerned about anything.  LOL  Shadow didn't ride that one, but his friend did.  He didn't look all that afraid, either.

Generally speaking I know that roller coasters are pretty safe, but the big ones aren't my favorite.  I just hunker down, shut my eyes, hold on to shit, and wait for it to be over.  LOL  I rode some of the less intense stuff and really enjoyed that.  I think the Mine Train was my favorite.  I kept my eyes open and giggled the whole way through that one.  😃

I rode the Riddler next to Cade and since the bar was so far in front of me I rode it bent over.  Haha.  Cade had his arms in the air, but at some point we went through a loop and due to the force he couldn't keep his arms up, so he kind of punched me in the back of the head.  LOL

The Batman ride was closed because a light was out in the hall.  Unfortunately, we didn't find that out until we'd walked almost all the way up there.  Boo.  I really wanted to ride that one.  🙁  I rode the Ninja with Cade and I thought that ride was gonna beat me to death.  My head was banging around all over the place.  🙁  On the bright side I saw two turtles in the water below after we got out.  And I find it really funny that there were turtles at the Ninja ride...

I guess we chose a great day to go.  While it was hot, it was also breezy and overcast for a good chunk of the day.  Also, we never had to wait in line for more than 15 minutes or so for anything.  Some things we just walked right up and got in.  I have never had that happen on any trip to Six Flags in my life.  Not that I'm a frequent go-er, but you know.

Anyway, super thanks to Colin and Nancy for the tickets they couldn't use when they were here.  That really helped because tickets for 5 people would have been crazy expensive.  I wish y'all could have been with us.  Maybe we'll get to do that again one day soon!  ❤
