I'm finally about to leave the house. The sun is less up, so I'm barely even sad about it. LOL, but it's not really funny. 😕
I just spent some time on Amazon ordering things to sunblock my car. They have this weird mesh thing I can put on my door to block the sun, but still have my windows down. It might look weird, but I am beyond caring about that right now. If they turn out to not be crap I'll order some for my back windows, too. It would be a nice way to have the windows down with the dogs in the car, but I wouldn't have to worry about them jumping out. (I know, doggie seatbelts, but I don't think any of mine would like that.) Also, tinting my windows or putting a film on them is not out of the question, but for now I need sun protection even when my windows are down. I'm going to be thinking about those things and trying to figure out my best options.
I also got a clingy thing that I'm going to cut and put at the top of my windshield. I am entirely too short for a visor or the tinted part of the windshield to always make a difference. Still might get a visor extender thing, but not right now. It was surprisingly expensive compared to the other stuff I bought.
Also, there is a difference between sunscreen and sunblock. I didn't know that. But now I have a highly-rated tube of Blue Lizard Moisturizing Facial Sunblock coming my way. All of these things should be here on Friday. My driving gloves and my hat should be here tomorrow. Maybe by the weekend I can leave the house without getting sick! A girl can dream...
