Thursday, Friday

So yesterday was nice - very relaxing. Me, Nick, and Shadow went to Oxford Lake and walked around for a while. The weather was good; a bit windy and cool, but good. We listened to our music, and talked, and walked. We're gonna have to do that more often. 😊

Today was pretty cool, too. I got some good news at work... it seems that things will be looking up for us. We now have someone coming in to do the things my current boss doesn't like to do / isn't good at. I've met the new guy twice; so far I like him. He seems like a good kind of guy. Also, since he will be moving into the office with the boss that means I get moved out (which is a good thing). I didn't like how my back was to the door in the office I'll be leaving soon (I hear that's bad Feng Shui and it made me paranoid, anyway) and I couldn't very well change it around since it wasn't my office. So as of next week I will be getting my own cubicle facing the door and I like that. Plus, with business picking up I will be staying a lot busier, which is the way I like it. I'm pleased. 😀

Also, Shadow spent the night with his grandmother (which kind of sucked, but he hasn't done it in three weeks so I guess it's ok). Me and Nick hung out - just the two of us. We went out to eat and wandered about for a few... I ended up buying us some cute little holder things for our mp3 players... I think they're gonna work out quite nicely. 😊 Then we watched Anchorman and that was funny. He said I remind him of the short guy... the one who loves lamp. 😂 What's so bad is that I can kind of see that.  😝

Ok, well, I'm done now. Later!

... This is pretty gay.

So Wednesday I went to the mall. I went there to meet someone and ended up seeing an old crush. I didn't recognize her at first, but I still thought, "Wow, she's cute." Then I realized who it was and I just thought, "Well, of course she's cute. She always was." We talked for a moment and that was cool. I've missed her on and off since back in the day. Honestly, we were good friends and I was attracted to her... so I call it a crush.

Anyway, life happens, friendships change and grow closer or apart, and we ended up drifting our separate ways. Just one of those things, I guess. But to tell the truth if she would've had me I likely would have left my boyfriend for her. ... To this day, I'm still not sure if she knows, though.

... So as I was leaving this girl at a makeup stand wanted to put lip gloss on me and talked me into it. So I'm sitting there and she's putting lip gloss on me and I'm looking down her shirt. I just sort of do that, I guess. I admit it - I like boobies. Whatever. So I didn't have any money to buy lip gloss, but I was supposed to come back and buy some today... seriously, I just don't have $20.00 to drop on lip gloss right now. And it wasn't even flavored. I've kind of felt bad all day for telling her I would come back and not doing it - especially after I looked down her shirt like that. But it was right in my face, ok? Right there. It's not like I could help it. (Btw, I don't have a clue if she noticed).

So anyway... yeah. That's all for this one.

Christmas pics!!! (There's 2 you HAVE to see). :D

Hey... here's another picture entry! This one might be the last for a while... I can't think of any other events I've taken pictures of lately that anyone would be interested in.

So here goes:  This one picture is what made my holidays so awesome. They're always great because of Shadow, but this year... it was just different. When you miss someone so much and then get to have them around it truly makes you appreciate getting to see them. This is my little brother, (or my hero, if anyone noticed the change on my profile). He's in the Army and it's been FAR too long since I saw him last.

Cade right after he got off the bus.

Cade and Shadow goofing off, of course. 😁

Now for the Christmas pics...

Nick and Shadow playing with the Dr. Dreadful food lab that Santa brought. Who's having more fun here? 😂

Shadow, aka "The Thing" from Fantastic Four. 😀

Shadow, aka "The Human Torch" from the Fantastic Four.

This kiddo loves to dress up. He has so many costumes.

Well, I hope everyone enjoyed those. I've been having fun putting them up. Now... wait for it... wait for it...

THE END. 😝

Also...

At work today I broke the clock on the wall. We have these cubicle-type wall things set up and one of my coworkers, Colin, threw something at me and Mike over one. I was being goofy and kicked at the wall. The clock proceeded to fall off and the glass promptly shattered. 😳 Mike had seemed pretty down during break, but he burst out laughing when that happened. He said that was the first time he'd laughed all day. At least some good came of it. 😂 And for the record I wasn't in trouble or anything. The boss bought that clock at a yard sale for like $.50.

... And now I must go. Yorda is being crazy hyper and just peed in the chair I am sitting in.

S'mores, hair, gay neighbor ladies with spatulas...

Marshmallows make me happy. Yeah, I said it. And probably fat, too, but I guess we'll just wait and see. 😆 I've been eating a lot of toasted marshmallows lately. Nick brought some over for his cocoa and taught me how to toast them over an electric stove (which btw, my mother always told me wasn't possible) so I had to buy a bag of my own and I just can't stop eating them. And last night we made dark chocolate s'mores. Oh yeah. 😁 They would've been a lot better if we'd had thinner dark chocolate, but the bars you get at Wal-Mart are freakin' jumbo size. Oh well. There's no such thing as too much dark chocolate.

Speaking of dark chocolate - that's really similar to my hair color now. I wanted to go with something darker (but not black) so it's just this awesome deep brown color. Nick helped me pick it out and then he put it on there for me. I didn't want any missed spots or anything. I can't walk around with my hair color all jacked up. 😜

Weird thing this morning. It was all frosty out so I went out to let my car warm up to melt the frost off and my gay neighbor lady was coming out of her apartment with a spatula. She said she was going to scrape the frost off my window for me so that I wouldn't be late, but I told her I had time to let it melt off. She said she needed something to do to keep her awake so I was just like, "Well, ok. Thanks." She's so awesome (and funny and strange sometimes). 😁

Today we went to the pet store. I saw the cutest thing! A leopard gecko who (body orange and tail purple) was drinking some water. He had such a cute flat little red tongue! I guess it was just the way he was perched on his water bowl - I dunno. But it was adorable. Also, the cockatoo who lives there, Spanky, was spazzing out. This song came on the radio and I swear he was dancing. It cracked me up; he was showing out. And a ferret bit me REALLY hard. It was a young one - those rambunctious little shits - so I wasn't mad. It really hurt, though.

Well I guess that's all of my rambling for tonight. I'll probably try to post another picture entry tomorrow for those of you who care. It will most likely be Christmas pics - some of which are pretty funny, too. Looks like I'm about to catch up with myself! Yay!

Ok... THE END

Fall Festival and Halloween pics!!! (funny stuff)

So I'm finally putting up the October-esque photos... they're pretty good, I think. Some of them are funny at least. 😁

This is Shadow after getting his face painted at the Fall Festival his school held. Of course he wanted to be a skull. 😂

This is Shadow and Nick... aren't they cute?

This is Nick scaring Shadow. Love the face. 😄

Halloween. Shadow was a ninja.

My mom gave Shadow gags for Halloween and this is one of them. Nice. 😑😂 Thanks, mom.

I hope everyone likes these or at least gets a good laugh out of them! Let me know what you think! 😊

Miscellaneous STUFF from the last week-ish.

Since it's been a while I guess I'll start with now and work my way back until I can't remember anything interesting to write. I'll start with right now. I'm blogging from work (the boss is out for a while).

This morning was cold as shit, but so pretty. It was all dark and cloudy, but with gold-ish sun highlighting certain areas... I love mornings that look that way. It's awesome to wake up to something so pretty. It really makes my day. I actually think there was another one not too long ago, as well... 😊

Backing up to last night - to put it simply - it was fun. Me, Shadow, and Nick went to Nick's aunt and uncle's house for Nick to fix his cousin's Nintendo DS. We ended up staying out there until 9:00 - which is pretty late for me to have Shadow out on a school night, but whatever. We were all having a good time.

Nick was playing video games with his cousin, Shadow was playing with toys with his other cousin, and I was watching American Idol with his aunt and uncle. They seem to be really big fans of the show. The only part of it that I can really get into is what was on last night: The Auditions. They are hilarious. I love it. I laughed so hard that I cried at this one guy... he came up there all dressed in a deputy's uniform (he said he really was one in real life) and proceeded to sing the chorus to "I Shot the Sheriff" over and over again... probably about 8 or 10 times in all. It was like he wasn't gonna stop until someone stopped him. 😂😂😂

Also we ate dinner there and it was good. We ate a deer (and other stuff, of course). Anyway, I've eaten deer before like in stews and stuff, but not ever where I could actually tell what it tasted like. Well, I liked it. I ate so much food. 😁 Nick's aunt can cook.

Backing up a few more nights - I held Sabembermoff, Nick's scorpion. Nick held him, too. Nick has picked him up by the tail and stuff, but never actually held him. It was cool. I think I'm the only other person to ever hold him so I feel special. It was so neat... his feet tickled my hand. Aww, I like that little guy. 😍

Before that night (or maybe even that night - I dunno for sure) there was this awesome halo-thing around the moon. It was huge. From what I understand that happens sometimes. Nick was going outside for something and called me out to look at it. I was thinking, "How great can this be?" but it actually was spectacular. It was GINORMOUS - this ring around the moon was. I was like "Whoa." 👀 I honestly didn't expect it to be that big.

Anyway, one more thing and I think I will be done. I was driving to Munford either this past weekend or the one before it and I saw a hand on the side of the road. It was a human hand. I'm pretty sure it was fake, though. But that's just a weird thing to see on the side of the road.

Ok, yeah... THE END.
