Had a nice morning with Shaun.  Then this afternoon he helped me put up my new outdoor lights that have been sitting in my room collecting dust for, oh, half a year or so.  LOL  I cleaned my gutters since his ladder was here, so I can now check that one off the old to-do list.  THEN, we snuck off and had dinner together.  Just the two of us.  That was lovely.  Nothing fancy, but I did need the break from kids and dogs and... well, everyone, really.  I've been feeling really overwhelmed and disconnected, so that was just what I needed.

For now, I'm going to start some laundry and then sit down, digest this food, catch a movie with Shaun and work on some more Halloween nails.  🙂

Woohoo for a nice, laid-back weekend!  I guess next weekend, I'll be running back to Birmingham, hopefully for the last time.  Me and Teyla both are ready for her little leg to be healed and for her to be unwrapped.  Paws crossed!

Josie (the betta that Nancy gave me) and froggie are doing great in their 10 gallon.  Just bought a small heater and put some nice candle holders in there for them to hide in.  I think it's pretty and they seem to be doing well.  🙂

I just cleaned Teyla's cage and it's all nice in there now.  🙂

I'm about to put some flooring down in Pomona's cage - so no more paper towel flooring for her!  LOL  And, it's gonna look supa-fly!

BUT.  🙁  I just found 3 of my glowfish and Sharky dead.  I have no idea what happened.  I have one glowfish and Ruckus left, and the last glowfish doesn't look so great.  If he dies I think I might just be done with that large aquarium for a while.  Can anyone tell me what a humane and good home would be for an almost foot long pleco?  I will keep the tank with just him in it if I need to, but he might like a larger space anyway.  I'm just scared that whatever happened to the other fish will get him, too.  I'm really not sure what to do.  But, for what it's worth he does seem fine right now.  Help?

Um... there is a creature in my ceiling.  Like, right over my bed.  Good thing I sleep like a rock.  I might wake up snuggling someone I didn't go to bed with.
