Saw this on the recycle bins by the mall last week.  It kind of made my day.  😃

For anyone who doesn't know...

For anyone who doesn't know - Emma is made of sugar.  So if she gets too wet she'll melt.   At least, that's what she thinks... though I can't deny her sweetness.  😄

So it's raining and I just put her out to pee.  I was going to stand at the door so she wouldn't be afraid to run out and do her business.  I didn't want her thinking she'd be locked out in the rain.  Well.  That did not work.  She stood there wanting back in and giving me puppy dog eyes.  When that didn't work her eyes got sadder.  When THAT didn't work her teeth started chattering.  😳  Home girl knows how to work it.  So I just had to shut the door and walk away.

I'm gonna go and check on her now.  Hopefully she's not a melted lump of sweetness and fur.  😛

These nails have been the most fabulous thing about me all day.

These nails have been the most fabulous thing about me all day.  I dropped Maya off at the spay / neuter transport this morning so I've smelled like dog all day.  More than usual, I mean.  😛  Not to mention that I went to work looking and feeling like a drowned rat.  Mom was driving me around this morning since my tires are bald and scary and that was awesome and sweet of her.  But when she pulled into my driveway she got stuck.  We probably spent a good hour out in the mud and standing water (yay for low yards!) and rain trying UNSUCCESSFULLY to get un-stuck.  Finally one of the many trucks driving by decided to stop and pull us out.  Yay for the kindness of strangers.  🙂

Anyway, yeah.  I didn't have time to shower or change - I just needed to get to work.  I have felt icky and cold and gross all day.  I am going to take a nice, hot shower shortly.  That's gonna be awesome.  🙂

I've gotta get to bed.  I need to wake up early to get Maya and get her to the spay / neuter transport tomorrow.  I also have a million things to do at work so it would be great if I got in a little extra early.

Anyway, here's a funny thing that might be worth sharing:  When I was out last night this old man came over and said that he loves my shell.  He said it was really cool and that it reminded him of something he'd seen while tripping on LSD in the 70's.  Then he assured me that that was a compliment.  As if that could be taken any other way.  😂
