Dumplin' ate a good breakfast.  🙂  He was ready for it, too.  He was quite fussy once I woke him up.

I emptied his bottom last night after he ate, but this morning WHILE he was eating he started pooping.  It was a little darker and looked more normal, but it wasn't quite turds yet.  I think we're just flushing that puppy milk out.  Maybe it'll be easier to have him on the regular "eat then potty" schedule once it's out of his system.  I wasn't ready for the poop just yet, but that's ok.  I will be next time in case it comes early!  🙂

My first official wildlife call.  🙂  The lady who found him told me that she had him for exactly two weeks today.  He is now 3-4 weeks old.  Her husband was calling him Dumplin', so I'm going with that.  He was on puppy formula and is a little malnourished.  Kind of skinny and his poop isn't quite right.  He was also stinky and moist, but he's full, warm, and clean right now so I'm sure he feels a lot better.  He's resting and staying warm.  I'll offer him some more food later.  Little buddy could use it.  ❤

Well, so far, my Monday has turned around.

Well, so far, my Monday has turned around.  I got my first wildlife call!  😃  I'm about to heat up my rice mama and go pick up my new baby.  😃😃😃

Also, mom and Bobby came to check on my car and it was just a loose battery cable.  THANK GOODNESS.  It could have been much worse.  😃

So I woke up all early to help...

So I woke up all early to help with the S.A.V.E. spay / neuter transport only to get outside and have my car not start.  Thank goodness for an awesome boyfriend.  Despite NOT being an early morning kind of guy he picked me up and took me.  I was late, but better late than never!

I helped with paperwork and random things here and there, but before we could even load the truck Shadow called from the nurse's office having thrown up.  So, I left to go and get him.

Shaun drove me to Huntsville to get some hands-on training with baby squirrels.  Kim was awesome, showed me the ropes, and even made up a care package with formula, syringes, blankets, etc. for me.  I'm SUPER EXCITED ABOUT THE NIPPLES!  She sent me home with a good quality nipple and now I know where to buy them, too.  They are not anything like you get at the stores around here.  They come with the holes already in them and everything.  I don't care how doofy it sounds - THAT made my day.  😃

Then me, Shaun, and Shadow went to the space center which was cool.  I haven't been there in about 15 years.  I rode the centrifuge thing and also that thing that takes you up and down.  It was pretty fun!  Also, they let us in for free so who doesn't love that?!

Then we had Mexican food (always awesome!) with Kim and Vicky.  I love you, for realz.  🙂

Then I met up with Laurel and picked up Scooby (a bearded dragon) for Tiffany.  I will call you shortly, Tiffany, and we'll make plans for you to get him.  Your new kid is ADORABLE!  😃

What I need to know is:  Why do so many of the people I like live so far away?!  That is madness.  But thank goodness for the internet.  😃

We got home around 11 last night and promptly crashed out.  One other piece of awesome for the day:  Despite having been home ALL DAY without getting to go out I had no accidents in the house.  I have the best pack of mutts EVER.  ❤
