Ok, so it's a day later than I thought I was posting it, but here it is.  The paint job that I'm super happy with.  🙂  I guess that was my last big "Hurrah!" before school starts.

I took some time to throw down a watermark because a lot of my nail friends in groups and on Instagram keep telling me to.  I would say that I'm not worried about people finding my photos and using them, but it's happened before.  (I found my nails on Ebay when I was shopping for nail stuff one day).  LOL  I was not upset, but I guess this way at least I could possible get some more traffic to my social media.

So I used another magnetic polish for this mani... actually, the same one from last time.  I know it looks really different, but it's just layered over itself rather than black, so that makes a difference.  I did the flowers with a stamping plate from Bundle Monster, and the (supposed to be) diagonal-ish lines with some cheap nail art tape I had.

Btw, these are not supposed to be French tips - I just wanted some color aside from the flowers.  I used the magnetic polish again to add depth.  I'm really digging that stuff!  Also, I know these look spring and it's winter, so I SUPPOSEDLY should be doing snowflakes or whatever, but y'all should know by now that I do what I want.  LOL

Anyway, that's it.  Possibly for a while, but maybe not.  I guess it depends on how this semester goes.

Me? Thanks for asking. I'm tired and sick from Methotrexate. I dragged myself out of bed around 2 this afternoon. I'm full-on adulting because I'm still in pajamas and eating fruit gummies for dinner. 😝

I'm watching Rosanne on DVD and trying to decide whether I'm gonna nap or paint my nails.

I spent yesterday on the couch trying to keep the animals calm from the fireworks and / or gunshots outside. I also watched Netflix with Shaun and it was pretty nice. I ALSO organized all of the bookmarks in my "Nail Things to Try" folder on my computer so that should help me when I go to look for inspiration or something new to do. Maybe I'll actually do a couple of things before school starts back. We'll see.

Anyway. Super exciting things going on over here. 😜

I generally disagree with this being considered a holiday...

I generally disagree with this being considered a holiday - to me, every day is a new day, and no day is less of a chance to get things right or to make better choices.  Resolutions are crap - if you REALLY wanted to do something, you'd do it - regardless of the four numbers that follow the month and day of the time you currently occupy.

That being said - I have mixed feelings about 2017.  While I'm thankful for the time that has passed between me losing Sapphire, Sky, Peach, Lowrider, and Scooter, not to mention the stress of spring semester being incredibly hard - punctuated with a pipe bursting and flooding my house, on top of my dad's home burning and killing his pets... I'm not looking forward to Trump being president.  I honestly don't feel that he's looking out for people like me, but hey, I guess it's possible that he could surprise us.  (Not a political post; just my feelings.  And no, I don't want to debate about it.)

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm not celebrating a new year.  I haven't since I was a kid.  It doesn't matter.  I'm just gonna hunker down, keep my nose in the books, and love my family.  I have milestones (graduating GSCC in May, starting JSU in the Fall) to keep me going for now.

Anyway, for the next 10 days I am resting.  I will need all the energy I can get for spring semester.  Whatever you're doing today / tonight, be safe.  Secure your pets in case of fireworks and don't forget to take care of the ones you love.  ❤
