When I'm not posting, I'm either

When I'm not posting, I'm either:

1) insanely busy with school, or

2) having my ass kicked by depression.

There was a day last week that I drove home and literally fell asleep in my car because I lacked the energy / motivation to walk into my house.  This semester hasn't been as hard as I anticipated, so... it's just me.  I made an appointment with a therapist a while back because I felt myself slipping.  I finally saw her today and I like her.  I will definitely keep my next appointment.

Today (Wednesday) is my final exam for the summer semester.  If I can make an 80 on it I'll come out with an A.  Paws crossed that I will do it.  Otherwise, I'll be disappointed in myself because I'll know deep down that I could have done better.

Other than that I'm just really glad that I am going to have some down-time soon.  I might work a little, but I am going to try my best to rest.  Rest my brain and rest my body.  I am so dead tired that I don't even know what to do with myself.

I hope you all are doing well.  If not - please hang in there.  And if anyone needs to talk or see a friend after tomorrow, let me know.  It might do us both some good.  I can't promise I will be pretty or not need a shower or also not be covered in dog hair, but I'll show up for whatever that is worth.  ❤

I was sitting in my bedroom floor...

I was sitting in my bedroom floor talking to Shaun and looked over to find a sweet little Bruce had let himself out during the night and snuggled into some blankets. I don't usually sit in the floor... I feel a tinge of panic thinking that I could have gone all day not knowing he was loose. He's never done that before. He could have gotten hurt! 🙁 He appears to be asleep so I'm not going to bother him yet. But when I do I guess I have to figure out how he got loose. Bad little baby!

We did nails last night for graduation.

We did nails last night for graduation.  Shaun brought us food and touched up Kira's hair.  It was a good time!

I've never really done falsies before, but I got these put on, cut, shaped, and painted. Not too bad considering that I haven't done nail art in ages!

I am so ridiculously excited.

I am so ridiculously excited.  The kids graduate tonight at 8. 😁😁😁 I am so proud of Shadow and Kira and all of the other seniors.  I can't wait to see how all of these amazing kids go out and change the world.  💙💙💙
