I just experienced the rudest awakening of my life.

For some reason I ended yesterday with a migraine. I ended up sleeping on the couch because I didn't want to move.

A short few minutes ago I was sleeping on my back in the recliner, wearing thin leggings and a t-shirt, under a thin fuzzy blanket, snoozing away, when Scar for whatever reason decided to pounce on me and start digging.

That hurts no matter where it happens.

Unfortunately for me he was in my lap.

I've now got a deep hole on the inside of my left labia.

It hurt so bad and happened so suddenly that I slapped the shit out of that cat before I was awake enough to realize what happened.

Now I feel bad for hitting him.  AND it hurts to walk.

We've been busy painting all afternoon at the kids' house. We had Cookout for dinner all together and just now left. The day was uneventful until right before we walked out the door.

I am dying laughing right now. Kira doesn't like roaches and freaks out when she sees one. (The big ones come into the house in Anniston sometimes). Well she just saw one run under the couch and straight up HULKED OUT and shoved the couch a good foot away from where it was - WITH Shadow STILL SITTING ON IT eating his food - her screaming the whole time for someone to get the roach. Shaun caught the poor bug and put him back outside. 🤣🤣🤣

Then as we pulled out of the driveway and the headlights lit up the neighbors yard Shaun started exclaiming "A RACOON! A RACOON!" and pointing out the window. He'd never seen a live one before and was SO EXCITED. It was honestly precious. His night is made and my night is made because I love my little family so much. These 3 humans bring me the most joy. ❤️

I was in Lowe's yesterday

I was in Lowe's yesterday and saw some ceiling stuff and it reminded me of back in the day when I lived with my grandmother and my friend Billy broke in when we weren't home and re-did her living room ceiling for her. I remember her being so confused and excited. 😂😂😂

Ook, so me and Shaun are tired and feverish. I've got a slight headache. We did some light housework together and called it a day. He's been in bed for an hour or two... I'm chilling with the cats for now and probably won't be up for much longer. An easy day was the right call. I'm sure this is still tons better than catching the 'Rona. Goodnight, friends. ❤️
