Gotta give a big, fat "THANK YOU!" to my mom who built me a larger place for Pomona plus made two cute ass beardie beds, AND is watching Maya for me until I can get her to the clinic in the morning. All in one day. Super Meta to the rescue! 🙂

"How are you feeling, Blu?"
"How are you feeling, Blu?" Pretty good right now!
Well, though yesterday started out sucky it got better. I did some things around the house that needed doing so I felt better. Then me and Shaun went out for dinner last night with a group of friends and it was GREAT. Can't go wrong with Baja or this crowd. 🙂 THEN we hung out even later because we were just having too much fun to call it a night.
Since Shadow stayed with a friend last night I crashed at Shaun's place. Haven't done that in a while. I always sleep really good there - probably because I'm not listening out for what's going on with my ani-pals. And because he's got the windows blacked out in his room so I don't get woken up by the sun. I just sleep until I'm rested and it is good.
So I came home about an hour ago. Everyone's doing ok. Out of 7 dogs only 1 couldn't hold it and peed in the floor. I'd say that's pretty good. 😃 My dogs rock. You don't even know.
Best part yet - I checked my email and it sounds like Maya baby is gonna have a home later this month. I AM SO EXCITED! 😃

"How are you doing, Blu?"
What a fucking day!
What a fucking day! And I hadn't even planned to be awake yet! 😳
A stray dog on a chain came around because Maya was in heat. Shaun's neighbor lady got the dog by the chain and had him tied to her tree so that Maya could get away from him. But we had to get him off her tree and tie him to Shaun's for a while. She had company coming over and couldn't handle him. Shaun called me at like 8 this morning for me to come and get Maya. She is now in Munford at my mom's until her spay on Monday.
We looked around the neighborhood for the owner of the dog, but couldn't find anyone. It was a husky looking dog dragging a LONG ass chain. He did not seem well-socialized at all. But if he lives on a chain - go figure, right? Shaun called Animal Control because what else do you do? He would at least be held for 7 days for someone to claim him.
I gave him food and water while we had him tied up. I got close to him, but I didn't make eye contact, come at him straight on, or move suddenly. Shaun gave him a bone and then was re-filling the dog's water later when he said he started seeming all friendly. That's when Shaun tried to pet him and got bitten. I wasn't there. I was driving Maya around at that time.
After he was bitten, but before Animal Control showed up the owner came and got him. Turns out that Mr. Bitey Dog is named Soldier. The owner SAID he had his shots, but who really knows. I think Shaun should get a shot anyway. He's always getting bitten by dogs lately. 😳
It's been a fiasco.
Blegh. Boo for dog stuff that is hard. I miss the days of throwing everyone together in the dog room and having it work out. 🙁

Got started on my nails and...

I just gotta say:

This is an open question to anyone:
As defined by Wikipedia:
Agnostic atheism - The view of those who do not believe in the existence of any deity, but do not claim to know if a deity does or does not exist.
Agnostic theism - The view of those who do not claim to know of the existence of any deity, but still believe in such an existence.
Personally, I'm a 6, leaning 7. I'm not going to go all out and say that I'm 100% sure there is no god because we still have so much to learn, but I do find it to be very unlikely. So unlikely that I do not fear hell nor feel the need to worship anyone.
If you're comfortable answering and talking about it feel free to post. For all of you sensitive folks this isn't a jab at you so don't get your panties in a wad. This is my page, I'm out of the god closet, and this is a simple conversation starter - NOT meant to hurt your feelings. I was hoping it could be a little bit educational for everyone because people seem to get the terms all mixed up. I've been told by people before (mostly Christians) that there is no such thing as an agnostic atheist (no claim of knowledge and doesn't believe), which is what I identify as. It is simply not true. In fact, most atheists I know identify that way.
