Also, I am NOT sure what happened on my thumb... the topcoat just wrinkled up my polish and didn't smooth back out.  🙁  I ❤❤❤ my Seche Vite, but sometimes, shit happens.  *shrugs*

You all don't even know the awesomeness that is Shaun.  He got off work today and then helped me (and by help I mean did it for me) fix my doggie door, reconfigure my baby beardie lights, AND spotted me some money since I broke myself with Casper at the vet.  I do not even feel like I deserve such a great guy.  I'm so much work for him!  AND, he's got his shit so under control that I don't really get the chance to help him back much.  NOT FAIR!  I think I need to step up my awesome because he is leaving me in the dust.  😐

So when all the "There's a killer on the loose in Anniston today" junk was going on...

So when all the "There's a killer on the loose in Anniston today" junk was going on I logged on to the Anniston PD's Facebook page to get the latest news, because they are good about keeping shit updated.  When they finally posted that they caught the guy, there was an ass-ton of people commenting things like, "Thank god!" or "Thank the lord" etc.  I was very disappointed to only see a HAND FULL of comments congratulating and thanking the officers on a job well-done.  How about thanking the fucking men and women that stuck their necks out to catch that guy?  I mean really?

I am awake STUPIDLY early... for me, anyway.  Thanks a lot, sweet tea with dinner, for helping me NOT sleep.  And thanks a lot, janked-up doggie door, for making me have to get up and let the dogs out.

Casper's skin is looking a lot less red today.  He still seems itchy and feels feverish to the touch, but he's resting and getting lots of special treats.  He seems to have expelled the parasites he had so he's looking less bloated.  Sweet guy is on the mend!  😃

FYI:  I've never met a dog so gentle.  He will barely take the food from your hand, even when it's real chicken or bacon.  Just barely will touch it with his front teeth.  He's gonna make someone a good buddy one day.  🙂
