Not much to report this weekend.

Not much to report this weekend.  I haven't done a thing.  😃  And thankfully, my throat is less awful today than it has been in a week.  I'm hoping for continued improvement.

Unfortunately, my house is showing my lazy.  Guess I need to do a little bit of cleaning up before I can call it a night.  Oh, and a shower.  I DEFINITELY need one of those.  LOL  I wasn't kidding when I said I'd done nothing.  😛

Look at my nubs! LOL

Look at my nubs! LOL

Scruffy has found a way out of my fence and while trying to block little dude's escape route I totally broke a nail. So, short they all are! 🙁 I can't have one broken and the rest long. It drives me crazy. 😐

Anyway, I've been trying for hours (literally. And how lame am I?) to get a good shot of this fucking awesome nail polish I'm wearing. Holy damn. It has not been easy to capture the pretty. Honestly, this still doesn't do it justice, but it's just not getting any better than this. Maybe if the sun would come out and stay long enough for me to adjust my camera and get a good shot. Oh well.

This is some Glitter Gal holo silver with some of my wayyy-too-expensive OPI Black Spotted. I ❤❤❤ how the ring finger turned out. That was a thinner coat of black spotted. The thumb has a thicker coat. I think that stuff is pretty neat. Kind of like a crackle, but not.

Black Spotted was part of OPI's Spiderman Collection. France got Black Spotted (which looks like Venom), and America got some stupid green glitter crackle stuff. Screw that. I wanted Venom! This would look so gruesome over some red or something. Maybe more towards Halloween I'll bust out with that. 😃

This is interesting.  However, using tape, you don't need a topcoat to change your color - you just choose any two colors and go with it!  Maybe this is easier to wrap your head around, though.  Who knows?

I love how China Glaze is paying attention to what the nail bloggers are into.  It's showing in all the new goodies they are putting out.  😃  Although, I have no idea if I'll actually buy any of these, since I can already do this without a special topcoat.  Maybe if I like the colors...

Idiot dog...

Idiot dog just made me drop my last Sucrets out of my mouth.  So hard not to pick it back up out of the dirt and finish eating it.  🙁

Screw all this.  I'm going back to bed.

Head and throat hurts, STILL.

Head and throat hurts, STILL.  The chills are coming back.  I'm heading to the couch.  I'm planning a weekend full of LAZY.

You know, I've been looking for a reason...

You know, I've been looking for a reason to wear this bizarro tentacle-skull-wearing-a-crown stamp.  I couldn't see it on any other color but pink, but Nancy gave me the perfect one last night!  So, here it is.  It's actually meant to be a French tip stamp, but I don't do those much.  I like it better how it is, sideways across my nail.  I think it's cute.  🙂

Had fun hanging out with Nancy and Mary Beth tonight.

Had fun hanging out with Nancy and Mary Beth tonight.  Pretty bummed that our girl nights are coming to an end.  Not looking forward to having Nancy in Arizona!  🙁  But, at least we have FB.  🙂

And Nancy, thank you for all the goodies!  And holy shit, the CAKE.  ❤

I'm up early like I wanted to be...

I'm up early like I wanted to be. But I have this stupid headache... 🙁

Confession Time...

Confession Time...

Y'all remember that OPI Black Spotted French Sephora exclusive nail polish that OPI said they would NOT be releasing in the US?

I got one.  😃

And no, I did not pay $50 for it on ebay.  That's just crazy.  o_O

I own 5 crackle polishes and just realized that...

I own 5 crackle polishes and just realized that I've only got photos of one put up - and in the photo, you can't really tell it's a crackle! How goofy. LOL I know what happened. I went back and looked at my nail photos, and it wasn't long after I got my crackles that I also got my stamping goodies. Stamping goodies > crackle.

Anyway, this is my black one over a Maybelline Color Show Limited Edition pinky / champagne something or other. LOL I can look at the name if anyone actually likes it. They had it at Walgreen's. Which, btw, if you are into polish, they seem to get a lot of cool exclusives that other stores don't get. 😉

So, crackle. Love it or hate it? Most people seem to have a strong opinion one way or the other. I like it, especially when you get nice big cracks. 😃

What a long day, but it was fun!

What a long day, but it was fun!  We had to take Teyla to Riverview Animal Clinic, P.C. to get her leg checked out.  Dr. Atlas had to change her wrapping this time and baby girl showed her beard.  She did NOT like that.  BUT, her leg is healing nicely and he said that by the time she's grown it shouldn't even look like it was ever broken.  So that's good.  🙂

After that we went to Chili's.  I'd never been to a Chili's so that was cool.  Teyla had to stay in the car in her box for that one (ooh, and she was pissed when we came back out!), but she spent the rest of the day on my boob going in everywhere we went.  LOL

She went to Spirit Halloween - I'd never heard of that, but holy shit - we are going back.  With monies.  And probably my mom because she'd love that place.  😃  Then we went to Ulta, where I got an Essence polish.  It was cheap and pretty and I didn't have one of those.  And I got to meet all the Zoya's and Ulta's and other fancy polish brands they don't have around here but that I always see blogged about.  LOL  I know that sounds goofy, but I was totally excited even though I was too broke to buy any of them.  Then we went to Sally's where I got a back-up magnet and some moisturize-y stuff.  Between the Essence polish and Sally's I spent a total of $5 on myself today and I am SO happy with what I got.  😃  Then we hit Petco, drove home, went by a gas station, and then Tractor Supply.

So, baby girl had a big day out and seemed to enjoy every minute of it.  Except for the box time and getting her leg re-wrapped.  But I hope the rest of it was fun enough to make up for it.  🙂  She seems to like being out and about and getting to look around.

She was so tired on the ride home.  She snuggled my neck, which is what she does when she's going to sleep.  Just climbs up as close to under my chin as she can get and presses her nose to me.  It must be a comfortable way to sleep, at least for her.  Usually when she does that she's got claws in my skin rather than my shirt.  But I let her do it anyway.  ❤

Teyla on the way to the vet.

Teyla on the way to the vet. Little girl is getting spoiled - she doesn't like riding in her carrying box. LOL She enjoyed basking on the dash, at least for the straight part of the ride. When we had to start making turns, I held her. She was ok with that - just don't put her in that box! She will give you an eye, for realz. 😃

Just got back from my first football game in AGES.

Just got back from my first football game in AGES.  Even though I wasn't in the stands playing it was a ton of fun.  Shadow had fun, too.  Hopefully, this means that he'll want to march next year.  Tonight was just a trial run - the 7th graders got to go and play in the stands.  Good idea.  And they sounded great!  😃

Oh, and Saks kicked ass.  35-6.  Whoever they played.  LOL

Dang, I've got a sore throat.

Dang, I've got a sore throat.  It's been slightly irritated all week, but today it all out hurts.  🙁  And I'm nauseated.  Yay sinuses!

I found out last night (I love how he's known for 2 weeks but JUST told me) that Shadow is playing at the football game tonight.  Not marching - just in the stands to get a feel for what marching band is like.  That should be fun and will probably make me miss my band days.  I know I'm more excited than he is!  I just hope it isn't too cold.  😳

Anyone feel like being helpful or good?

Anyone feel like being helpful or good?  I've just caught wind of a situation where not one, but THREE dogs have been abandoned without food or shelter when the owner moved out.  And they are tied, of course.  🙁  The landlord and one of my former neighbors are feeding them.  I'll have photos tomorrow, but for now they are being described as two pit bulls and a fox-looking dog.  Unfortunately, if a shelter gets the bull dogs, they probably won't last long, and my inn is full.  I sent some dog food and all the meat from my fridge home with my former neighbor so they'll eat good tonight and tomorrow.  But they can't stay there.

So... anyone up for lending a helping hand?  Anyone want to try out fostering?

Nails from last night.

Nails from last night.  I did another mani with Saran Wrap.  LOL  I liked how the first one turned out so much I had to do it again.  But this time I used 3 colors instead of two, and glequins!

Honestly, I don't see me laying off of these anytime soon.  The textured look is nice alone, or would look great with stones, stamping, etc.  And it's SO EASY to do.  I love the way water marbles look, but they are so much trouble that I rarely bother.  But not this.  If you like painting your nails, you should TOTALLY just try it out at least once.  For realz.

I know those orange glequins look like they might not belong with that mostly pinkish paint job, but the last color I put on was a metallic pink / orange flip, so they totally go.  It's just not always easy to capture it in a photo!

I'm about to shower, eat, and do my nails.

I'm about to shower, eat, and do my nails.  Nothing else.  It's been a "blegh" kind of week and today I got some news that pretty much bummed me out.  Oh well.

Music nails!

Music nails!

Ok, so these weren't anything like I envisioned.  Like, not at all.  LOL  I wanted to put my piano key and sheet music stamps on there (because it was Amanda Palmer, duh!), but that did NOT go as planned.  First of all that really pretty flaky paint did not go down smooth, so it was not easy to stamp over.  Secondly, when I tested out the stamps they were all warped.  When a stamping image is, well, anything but straight lines it will usually look fine - even if it's not perfect.  But piano keys and sheet music both have a lot of straight lines and it's hard to make that look nice stamped over a curved nail.  My designs kept coming out warped and I just didn't like it.  🙁  So, I scrapped that idea.  I might have to practice with those and see if I can make them work because I like the images and I will be bummed if I don't get to use them.

Anyway, this is what I wore last night.  They were totally pretty when the light hit them.  🙂

Have any of you had a pet spayed or neutered through the clinic in Irondale?

Have any of you had a pet spayed or neutered through the clinic in Irondale?  Or do you know anyone who has?  Have any of you heard of S.A.V.E and all of the great work they are doing to prevent so many animals from being needlessly killed every year?

Between the work of the Spay / Neuter clinic and SAVE, shelter intake has DROPPED, meaning that fewer and fewer animals are having to die.  This is the only way to humanely end the needless killing.  Now the clinic is being attacked again.  The Alabama State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners is trying to have the clinic shut down, and are using blatant lies to do it.  WE CANNOT LET THIS HAPPEN.

Please read this letter and do your part.  If you had a pet fixed there, please let them know how it helped you to have it done affordably and if the care was adequate.  We have to speak out.  The board is trying to take from us something that we DESPERATELY need.

Just got home from the Amanda Palmer show.

Just got home from the Amanda Palmer show.  It was amazing, as usual.  🙂

She had these saxophone players that covered Don't Stop Believing by Journey.  And then mid-show, she busted out with some Careless Whisper by George Michael.  Loved that!  There was also this one song about fish... something about being a bottom feeder.  She wore the huge sheet-like thing and crowd surfed.  It was pretty.  And I really liked that song.

Shadow went, and he had fun.  He was bummed that he didn't get to meet her, but maybe next time.  Me and Shadow went to the back - we didn't even hang with Shaun.  Shaun likes to be up front and close and I kind of prefer the back.  Like, so far back that I can see over the crowd.  LOL  It's easier on my ears and doesn't kill my neck (when I'm up front, I have to look straight up to see anything).  And Shadow would have hated all of that, too.  There was another lady with a kid in back and it wasn't crowded, but we could see.  It was nice.  🙂

Aaand... the icing on my cake:  Despite me leaving my poor dogs locked in for all those hours, no one crapped or peed in my floor.  I'm about to bring the poor babies in, love them up and go to bed.  🙂

Freshly showered - now gotta do my nails...

Freshly showered - now gotta do my nails for the Amanda Palmer show tonight.  Can't be going in there with crazy blue and glequin nails!  LOL

When we saw Dr. Atlas today...

When we saw Dr. Atlas today he saw my shell and asked me what it was.  After I told him that it was my backpack, he said "Wait here.  I have something to show you."  And he came back with this bowl full of turtle hatchlings.  😃  There is one on the left who's still trying to make his way out, and a few that haven't started to hatch yet.  He said it could take days.  Oh my gosh - it was the coolest thing.  😃  I didn't know this, but the babies have this placenta thing on the bottom of their shells that supply their nutrients for a while.  One of them fell over on his back and I saw it.  It was like, pulsating and stuff.  SO NEAT!

Dr. Atlas says he does this every year.  He also patches up turtles that have been hit by cars.  I love a man with a good heart.  Today was nice.  I know this sounds weird, but I love going there.  If I lived closer I'd totally help him with his fosters.  🙂

Teyla's doing well - just needs to continue to get her wrappings checked out every weekend and she'll have another x-ray on the 4th week.  Her appetite is slowly but surely increasing, so I'm pleased with that.  She seemed happy to be going and hanging out, but was kind of fussy for the changing of the wrap.  Bad girl!  LOL

Did my nails just last night, but...

Did my nails just last night, but the tips have already started wearing off.  Thought I should photograph these before they got totally messed up.  😐

So... the things on my ring finger were coined "glequins" by one of my favorite nail bloggers, The Nailasaurus.  (Google her and you'll see why she's a favorite).  These little things are too big to be glitter, too small to be sequins.  LOL  When I saw them I had to have them.  😃

They actually match my polish pretty well.  They probably look so light because I've got a light pointed right at them for a photograph, but just looking at my hand, you *almost* can't tell it's not polish, except for the ones that are catching the light and keeping it interesting.

These weren't hard to put on, but I didn't want to do all of my fingers.  I guess I'm lazy like that.  LOL

I chipped a nail today.

I chipped a nail today.  I was honestly a little disappointed, but I'll live.  Now I have an excuse to bust out some of my new goodies!  😃

Wednesday, September 12, 2012

It's been a pretty good day.

It's been a pretty good day.  I got my order from the born pretty store, so that means I have MORE NAIL GOODIES!  😃  My little wheel of stones was broken, but I think most of them are still in the envelope.  I will be checking that out shortly.

ALSO, I got the polishes I ordered from the blog sale I posted a few days ago.  Five name brand polishes (some of which I wouldn't be able to find around here), for $8, including shipping.  So what, they were used?  Looks like she swatched them and decided not to keep them.  Seriously, they look brand new.  And I read somewhere that germs and bacteria can't live in polish.  Probably why you can PAINT nails without a license, but not do cuticles and all that.  Anyway.

The icing on my cake:  Teyla ate 4 crickets this morning and 5 this evening.  That is still not as many as she used to consume in one sitting, but that is definite improvement.  😃

So my biggest complaint for the day is that I like the nails I have on, so that means I don't want to take them off to play with my new goodies.  I can live with that.  😃

Super easy and fun nails I did last night with...

Super easy and fun nails I did last night with... wait for it... Saran Wrap.  LOL

I've seen it done two ways:

1)  Paint on your base color, then paint on another color and dab it OFF with the wrap, or
2)  Paint on your base color, then dab a second color ON with the wrap.

I think that the amount of coverage you want with the 2nd color would probably determine your method.  I dabbed color on with the wrap because the other way around just seems wasteful.  And you can always dab on more for more coverage.  🙂

Teyla ate 4 crickets...

Teyla ate 4 crickets, took her meds, and drank a little bit for me.
😃😃😃

That is not nearly as much as she used to eat, but it's improvement.  I'll take it.  😃

Shaun's too sweet.

Shaun's too sweet.  I wanted the new China Glaze Magnetix II Collection, but I couldn't buy it for myself because I knew I had vet bills coming.  So I wouldn't miss out I told him I wanted it for my birthday (which is in November), but that he should buy it now.  Well, it came in today and he gave it to me.  I'm considering not using it until November, that way, it's still my birthday present.  LOL  I didn't get him two gifts for his birthday - he can't get me two!  That is totally not fair!

Shaun.  You're a strange one.

"Who wants to sign my cast?"

"Who wants to sign my cast?"

So, we're home.  Her thigh is the broken bone, but the doctor said that in order for it to heal he needed to stabilize the surrounding joints - hip and knee.  Fancy little getup she's wearing.  Gotta be careful not to cover her vent and all that.  She doesn't seem to mind it too much - just glad to be home.  No baths until this thing is off (so I'm not quite done syringe-feeding lizards yet - gotta ensure she doesn't get dehydrated), and I have to make sure she doesn't get poop on it.  Doc wants to change it every week for the next 4-6.

When they brought her to me at the vet, she climbed (with her other 3 legs) up on my shoulder.  That seems to be her comfort place.  ❤  Glad to see that she can still get around some.

Also, FYI, Shaun fixed that fucking light.  He tried to snatch it down and it's not budging.  I hope to not have anymore hurt or sick babies anytime soon!

😐

Despite Teyla not eating anything at all yesterday and for most of today she didn't want dinner.  I'm REALLY hoping that it's because she's on medication (which is supposed to help stimulate her appetite), or because maybe she's just over-all not feeling well.  She didn't have any pain meds prescribed for her leg so I have no idea if she's hurting or not.  Doesn't seem to be, but animals hide it well.  I've never had a broken bone, but I would imagine it hurts like hell.  Don't know about after it's set, though.  Anyone out there able to clue me in?

On the bright side she did drink some water for me.  I had critical care mixed in, and tomorrow it will have some jump start for reptiles.  As long as she keeps drinking I won't freak out just yet.  She's got fat stores and is far from boney or emaciated or dehydrated.  I just don't want it to go on for too long.
Other than that she's getting around ok.  She even jumped a small distance with her one back leg.  But I had to put a puppy pad on her log - her bandages got snagged and she couldn't walk, so started to freak out a little.  Poor thing.  It's an adjustment, for sure.

I love this place. I love Dr. Atlas.

I love this place.  I love Dr. Atlas, the vet who took care of Teyla and Teal'c for me.  He asked about Teal'c first thing, and when I told him that he passed away last night he looked genuinely sad.  I really appreciated that.

I told him that his clinic was beautiful and really well thought-out.  I love that the rooms have doors (I hate that some vet offices don't.  It's a pain to hold leashes in a small space) and that the offices have whole doors on one side and split-in-half doors on the other.  The whole doors have windows all the way down so you can see if a critter is loose in the room, and of course you can see over the half-door, or close it totally for privacy.  Also, at the dog entrance they have slip leashes... I guess for those doofy people who think it's a good idea to take a dog in a place like that without.

After that he showed me around a little more.  I got to meet his foster tortoises.  He's also got a bird who's family brought her in to be put down because the family dog ripped her beak off.  He said he couldn't put her down, that he kept her and did a couple of surgeries, and that she's doing well now.  He has a good heart.  I only wish he was closer!

Any of you with exotic pets I definitely recommend this place.  For serious.  They are open late and on weekends.  Please don't let your exotic pet go without good care just because there is no one here in Anniston.  I promise you that this place is worth the drive.  ❤

Heading out to pick up my broken leezard.

Heading out to pick up my broken leezard.  I'll be glad to have her home.  Last night was just not easy without a scale-baby here.  🙁

Even though they weren't living together, Teyla and Teal'c got to see each other once in a while.  I wonder if she's gonna miss him like I do.  I hope she isn't sad.  ❤

Y'all know who's on my mind. ❤

Y'all know who's on my mind.  ❤

Teal'c just passed away.

Teal'c just passed away.  I think we got home from dinner just in time for me to hug him one last time.  ❤❤❤

I'm gonna miss you, Mama's Boy.

Ok, back from the vet.

Ok, back from the vet.  I'm still processing everything.  And wait until the "Teyla" paragraph... this is some M. Knight Shyamalan shit.

So Teal'c... yeah.  His poop tested clean and the vet was just like, "How can he have a full belly and still be so emaciated?"  He said that it looked like a basic case of failing to thrive.  He's getting nutrition (I've been making damn sure of that), but it's not being processed.  There just isn't much to be done about that, unfortunately.  🙁  That was one thing I did not want to hear.  🙁  He said that it just happens sometimes, and that it could have been anything from genes that were passed down to problems with incubation in the egg, etc.  We have no way of knowing, but he told me he was sure that it was nothing I did wrong (which I really needed to hear).  He told me to take him home, keep him warm, keep up the supportive care, and cross my fingers.  He put Teal'c and Teyla both on a medication that should help with appetite and anything the poop test might not have caught.  That is all we can do.  I guess that's the best I can expect.  You should have seen the shock on the vet's face when I told him that they were the same age.  🙁

Teyla... well.  She's spending the night with Dr. Atlas tonight.  This morning when I was packing them up I noticed that her UV light had fallen on one side.  What I didn't notice was that... her leg is broken.  🙁  I just scooped her up and left.  When they put her on the scale to weigh her, the tech was like, "Does her leg always look like this?"  And I was like, "NO!  What hap... ohhh..."  It hit me like a ton of bricks.  Her fucking light fell on her.  🙁  I'm going to make sure it's impossible for that to happen again before she comes home tomorrow.  Thankfully, it's a clean break.  Dr. Atlas is recommending a splint, and I will have to take her back to Birmingham every week for 6 weeks to have it changed.  ... Um... while I'm totally sad that she is hurt, really, that couldn't have been better timing.  If you're gonna get hurt, doing it right before a trip to the vet is a good idea.  Not that it was in any way her fault.  I'm not actually sure how that happened, but it WILL NOT happen again.  Bloody hell.  I can't afford accidents.  😳

So, there it is.  While I had hoped there was something more to be done for Teal'c - something that I'd missed or overlooked - I feel better just knowing that Dr. Atlas thinks I've done the right things.  And he is totally nice.  He made me feel better, and yeah, I couldn't help it; when I was telling him about Teal'c, I just busted out crying.  I SO don't want him to die on me.  I'm not giving up on him as long as he's hanging in there, though.  But I do need to accept that whatever happens now is beyond my control.  Unfortunately, that is a REALLY hard thing for me to do.  🙁

You know, none of the people there knew how to pronounce his name and every one of them ended up calling him TLC.  I didn't correct them because damn, he's been getting a lot of that.  It fits.  🙂  But I never noticed until today how that is all of the letters in his name, except for the vowels.  Odd coincidence, I guess.

Oh, and I'll find out about the bill tomorrow.  I'm a little nervous.  Between the cost of the office visit, the x-ray, and Teyla's ongoing care... yeah.  I might be in a little deeper than I expected.  Oh well.  I feel less stressed over money than I do over my little ones when they are not doing well.  I'll survive.  Just might get a few more gray hairs in the process.  😳

Teal'c is not good, but hanging in there.

Teal'c is not good, but hanging in there.  Packing up the babies and heading out shortly.  Everyone cross your paws that they will be ok.  ❤

Can't sleep.

Can't sleep.  I am physically and emotionally drained.

And my brain won't shut up.

I think I need a vacation.  😳

I think I'm having a panic attack.

I think I'm having a panic attack.  Holy shit.  I just had to come home.  And Teal'c is worse.  Not basking.  Throwing up.

I'm kind of losing my shit here.  🙁

Blegh.

Blegh.  Eating chili from Krystal's last night might have been a bad idea.  I do NOT feel so great.  😳

Thursday, September 6, 2012

Yeah, I know my shirt is dirty and my psoriasis is showing, but...

Yeah, I know my shirt is dirty and my psoriasis is showing, but I don't care. This is the last photo I have of all 3 of us together. It was taken Thursday, before Teal'c's health starting going downhill. ❤❤❤

Reading my Googles...

Reading my Googles with two shoulders full of lizard.  I think Teal'c likes my hair, while Teyla seems annoyed by it...  🙂

Nervous about Saturday... the thing I'm most afraid of hearing is that they could have helped my boy had I brought him in sooner.  🙁

Ermahgerd.

Ermahgerd.  Lowrider is humping a blanket, and Casper is humping Lowrider.  That's a bizarre sight.  LOL

My first holographic polish...

My first holographic polish given to me by the lovely Robin.  😃

I'm SUPER STOKED to have this one.  I don't have any like it and unless I order some really expensive stuff from online I have to wait until China Glaze releases their Hologlam collection sometime next year.  That wait is gonna kill me, for realz.  😳

Anyway, this one is too pretty - all of the awesome can't even be captured in a photo.  It's all rainbow-y and glittery and shiny and beautiful.  It's my precious!  LOL

Teyla is pooping all wonky and barfing and not eating.

Teyla is pooping all wonky and barfing and not eating.  Fuck this.  They are both going to the vet on Saturday.  I've got the appointment made and mom is driving me.  I do not have the money for this, but I'm getting worn down from all that I'm doing for Teal'c.  I would at least feel encouraged if he was improving, but he's only holding steady.  Home boy is surviving, but not thriving.  🙁  Now with Teyla getting sick, too, that is too much.  I will be less stressed over money than I am about having sick babies.  I can always pay my bills late, but if I let them get too sick and they die, well... there's just no way to fix that, now is there?  😐

I had to turn off my touch screen last night.

I had to turn off my touch screen last night.  I've got a few flies in the house... not sure how that's happening seeing as how my doggie door isn't working right now.  But anyway, they're here and they like to use my computer, apparently.  My desktop was in a totally different mode, tabs and websites were open, there are scribbles on my desktop sticky note shopping list, menus and screens I'm not even sure how to access were open...  Um, ok.  It was so bizarre.  But my screen is very sensitive.  I don't actually have to touch it for it to recognize a command.  I Googled how to turn off the touch screen for now, and apparently I'm not the only one who's having their pc overtaken by bugs.  How hilarious.  😃  Who would ever think of that?

Watched Dark Shadows last night...

Watched Dark Shadows last night and it was funny.  Also watched Snow White & the Huntsman and did NOT like that.  It could have been so much better.  And Twilight's "scared to move my face" girl didn't help.  All she did was stand around showing her teeth.  Is she a mouth-breather or what?  LOL

Just came in from soaking up some sun with my scaly love. 🙂

Just came in from soaking up some sun with my scaly love.  🙂  He seemed to enjoy it.  Before that he had a nice warm bath, and he seemed all blissed out when I used a syringe to give him a little shower.  And before that, he ate a good bit - but only what I gave him with a syringe - not any crickets.

Got his new meds earlier this week, but so far not much has changed.  He seems to be eating a good bit more via syringe, but isn't showing interest in crickets.  He'll just eat one every once in while.  Somehow, he looks larger like he's growing, but he's still very skinny.

I ❤ that boy.  He loves me, too.  He leans in when I kiss him.  He knows what's up.  🙂
