Might find this hard to believe, but I don't sleep with any of my dogs.  I have slept with Emma before, though, and she's a damn good cuddler.  She lays down and slides her arm under your neck and gets close.  Smooth move!  However, I'm not fond of waking up to a big wet tongue in my ear.  😂😂😂

Man, I'm feeling rough.  I've coughed until my head is pounding and I feel like I could puke.  Was hoping my meds would kick in before that happened.  🙁  Need to sleep, but can't imagine it happening right now.  Still gonna try, though.  Goodnight, fellow Facebookers.  Hope you have a well-rested night.  Can almost promise I won't.  🙁

Woke up a few minutes ago to mom banging on the door.  She took Shadow to Munford to make him breakfast... I guess since I bailed on taking him out there yesterday.  I'm still not feeling great.  My house is a mess and that's not helping.  It bothers me like, deep down in my soul when it looks like this.  Anyway, having a hard time deciding whether to go back to bed or get up do something.  My bones are starting to hurt again.  🙁  I just want to curl up in a warm place.

I'm just done with today.  I'm eating, showering, and then napping.  I feel like shit and resting is the only way it's gonna get better.  I do apologize to anyone who I've backed out of plans on.  That totally was NOT supposed to happen.  But I'm not good company right now anyway.

Just got back from taking Shadow to the dentist.

Just got back from taking Shadow to the dentist.  When he was all done I went to the window to see if he needed another appointment or whatever (which he doesn't - no cavities - YAY!)  But the woman at the counter was all, "Sweetie, is your mom coming for you?"  I just kind of laughed and said "I'm his mom!"  That is bizarre.  I do have on a hat, but I know I look like shit because I feel bad.  What is that - twice in one week?  😂  29 feels pretty good!  😛

I just took a shower and it opened up my congested head in more ways than one.  I just had an idea!  Tell me what you think and if it's stupid or not.  SO... I'm really into nails and I really love dogs.  What if I combine the two?  I don't mean doing dog nails (although I guess I'm open to trying that, as well).  Would anyone pay like, $5 - $10 for me to paint their nails?  Since I have no fosters to support right now I could donate the money to Calhoun County Humane Society or S.A.V.E.  I'm no pro, but I can paint, stamp, tape, and water marble pretty good.  I have a great topcoat that keeps my polish on for 3 - 4 days and I'm pretty rough on my hands.  I could call it, like, Nails for Tails or something.  So... what say you?

I feel so crappy and I'm really tired...

I feel so crappy and I'm really tired, but I can't imagine that I'm going to be able to sleep with all of the nose-blowing I'm having to do.  I took some Mucinex, which made me feel all weird.  That didn't really help anything.  🙁  Looking forward tomorrow - want to get my check and see if there are any polishes out that I've been waiting for.

Saturday might be good, too.  Gonna help photograph the shelter dogs (if I'm not sicker... I'm just gonna plan on not being sicker) and I get to pick up Lowrider's paperwork, which means that she's officially official.  😃  Then I can order her new tag and take her shopping for a collar and leash of her own - no more foster-dog hand-me-downs!  At least I have things to look forward to.

Who likes it when someone takes something that doesn't belong to them?  Better yet - who likes it when someone takes something that was meant for your kid?  I, for one, do not like any of that shit.  What makes it even better is that she's a church-going Christian.  Not that I think all of you are like that... I'm just saying - those should be the ones who definitely DO NOT steal.  Right?  Some people I could just REALLY do without.

Shaun found something neat that he wanted to give to Shadow. He cleaned it up at work and left it there overnight. Came back in this morning and it was gone. Someone (I won't name any names, but I imagine that you know who I'm talking about from previous dumb-fuck incidents I've told you about, Jeni) said that it was neat and that her mom would like it so she just took it. Shaun confronted her this morning and told her that there was a word for taking things that didn't belong to you and that he wanted it back. If she does go ahead and mail it to her mother I have a feeling that I will send her parents a letter and explain that their daughter is a thief and ask politely that they send it back. It was nothing valuable - just a penny that was silver for some odd reason. But it's really the principle of the thing that pisses me off. I don't know what her fucking problem is, but she's old enough to know better.

Ok, so I was at work and she came in to get her check. She specifically did not speak to me and kept herself busy talking to other people. Well when she was about to leave I was just like, "Hey, did you bring back that thing you took?" I wasn't being bitchy or mean - I just wanted to know. She got all pissed off and yelled that she wasn't talking to me about it and that if I wanted her to get along with me at work I'd better not talk to her about it and just leave her alone. So then I was all, "I don't give a shit if you get along with me - you're not going to steal from me or my kid!"

Anyway, she goes on and says that she already sent it to her mom so it was gone. I was like, "Well, I'll just send her a letter explaining that her daughter is a thief and ask her to send it back. Or I could just call the cops since you admitted to having it and there's a witness." She just stomped out and said that she didn't care that I should go right ahead.

So I called Shaun and he was all, "She gave it to me a few minutes ago. She's just fucking with you."

I don't know what the fuck her problem was, but a simple, "Yeah, I brought it back" would have sufficed. I guess she just wanted to upset me and see what I would do. I hope she didn't think I'd be dumb enough to call the cops or write her mom without checking to make sure she didn't bring it back first.

Also, she brought another coin with it... I guess to make up for taking it in the first place. So I guess that's something, but I still don't get why she had to blow up. If anyone should be pissed it should be us - not her. Maybe she realized she did something wrong and was embarrassed. I don't know.

Wow.  I felt kind of bad last night so I went to bed early thinking that would help.  But I feel even worse now.  It's gone from a headache to a headache, plus nausea and sinus trouble.  🙁  I don't want that.  🙁

I got crayons and a kids menu at Logan's today.  Guess I'm 29 going on 11.  😂  What is more surprising is that I wasn't wearing a hat.  I always thought it was the hats that threw people off...  guess not!

As much as I'd rather be in bed...

As much as I'd rather be in bed, I'm up.  I'm trying to be good.  😂  It doesn't help, though, when you are all ready to go and you've got a dog still in the bed.  I can't leave him there all day... I need for him to go outside and use the bathroom and then come back in.  He takes his sweet time doing everything, though.  (It's Scruffy, the cat-dog).  😊  I'm thinking that an earlier bed time is in order for him because little dude takes after me - he's needs a solid 12 hours, or he's not moving.  😛

Well, it's been a nice day out. Hung out at Mom's for a bit earlier. Her goats just make me LOL. Love to see them run sideways and kick the air for no reason. 😃 They jump up like dogs and follow you around the yard - it's really funny. Also like to stand on your car, which I also find funny, (though I'm sure most people wouldn't). 😛 Then I went to Dad's. Someone threw out a black and white bull dog at his house. She's skeleton thin and this is after he's fed her for a whole week. She won't come too close to anyone and snarls and / or growls if you try to touch her. Does not seem vicious - just really afraid for some (probably horrible) reason. I spent some time sitting outside with some food. She ate it and pushed the plate up on my shoe. She smelled me, but then I moved and she got low and snarled. My bad, honey. 🙁 I feel so bad for her, but he's not making her leave right now. We just hope she comes around.

Well, I cleaned my gutter. I think it's time to work on the inside of the house some. It's not terrible, but needs some help - mainly due to having 6 dogs that go out, get wet, and come back in - muddy paws, wet-dog smell and all. 😂 Also, not eating this weekend (just felt like my body could use a break from the crap) and I'm pretty energetic and upbeat. It's the first time I haven't had a headache in several days. Guess that's something to think about... 🙂

OMD - SO FULL!  We ate at Los Arcos right here in Saks and holy cow I feel like a cow.  I think I would explode if I ate or drank anything else right now.  It was yummy!  And Sarah (I wish FB would let me call you how I know you!) they have Mexican beer.  Shaun said you like that.  If you haven't been there you should check it out!  🙂

Well.  Wii can't connect to the internet for some reason.  Shadow has fallen asleep.  Dinner has already been eaten.  I'm tired, kind of bored, and slightly head-achey.  Debating on whether or not 7:45 REALLY IS too early to go to bed.  😂

We started Tash (Nappy)...

We started Tash (Nappy) back on her Kinetic shots today.  She's doing really great since the surgery - I almost never hear her cry anymore, but she snuffles when she stands so I know her other hip is hurting her.  That Kinetic stuff was great last time so hopefully it will hold her over until her next surgery.  Dr. Epperson doesn't want to rush into it and neither do I.  We're looking at 6 - 12 months out.  She needs to be solid on the one we just operated on before we take the other out of commission for a bit.  Oh, and I gave her the shot just now and I'm not even queasy!  Damn, I'm getting good!  😃

She is not squinty in the slightest, but she puffs her cheeks out and makes a funny face when she's got something to say. I realized earlier...

I realized earlier that I didn't have one of the new flaky polishes that I want so badly (because I am obsessive and crazy), so I called Sally's (expecting a recording) to get their hours. Literally at 11:45 pm someone answers the phone and helps me. She was all, "Sally Beauty Supply, how may I help you?" And I was just like, "Are you kidding?" LOL She was totally nice. I can't even believe that. They were just in doing some sort of thing - not open to the public. She did NOT have to answer the phone, but she did! 😃 And they open at 9 in case you were wondering. Just wow. 😳

It's been a "blah" kind of day...

It's been a "blah" kind of day. Woke up with a headache that I couldn't shake and had to go get my coochie probed (woohoo for yearly stuff - but at least Dr. Daniels was upbeat and happy, as always). I had a restful weekend, but I've been tired all day. I think the flakies on my nails have been the best thing about today. I didn't know that they were so many colors until I was out in the daylight and then BOOM! There was the rainbow. 🙂 However goofy it sounds - this is why I don't just cut them off and leave them bare. You always have you hands with you, right?

OMG, my head.

OMG, my head. 🙁 All weekend and even in the middle of the night, it hurt. I'm hoping that some Ibuprofen and a shower helps because I don't want to walk around like this all day!

Excited about...

Excited about doing nails with Mary Beth and Nancy tomorrow. MB doesn't know it yet, but SHE'S GONNA WEAR SOME GLITTER! 😛 I don't care if it comes off on Monday - it's about having something you like to look at until it's gone. 😃

Had fun at the comedy club...

Had fun at the comedy club with Carla and Sandy. 😃 It was nice to go out and have some laughs. OH, and I ate. A nice healthy dinner, followed by a not-so-healthy hot fudge brownie with ice cream. All about the balance, right? 😛 Thank you for inviting me. I hope we get to do it again soon! ❤

So she comes to me, bone in mouth, and tries her hardest to figure out how to take her pills without putting the bone down. Goofy girl. You got a big mouth, but you can't chew like that! 😛

Got to watch a dog spay and neuter today in preparation for the SAVE event in February. It was kind of gross, but not too bad. Can't wait to see how it goes next Thursday!

The rest of the day was CRAZY - with a thousand things to do at work and one VERY uncooperative computer.

Glad to be home. Gonna veg out with Shadow, watch some TV, and do my nails. Gotta shake it off and get ready for tomorrow!

Ok, just thought my day couldn't get any better, but it TOTALLY DID.

Just found out that I have THREE g-pig loving cats. Leigh, I will have to get video of Niq and Balthazar for you. My pig just pulled his ear and all Balthazar did in response was get comfy and sniff his nose. HOW SWEET!!!

I've been happy all day...

I've been happy all day for no particular reason. Then it only got better. 😀 Came home and Mary Beth and Jack gave me an AWESOME hat, scored some pretty colors on clearance at Wal-Mart, AND they had the tea I wanted so bad! And tomorrow I get to watch a neuter surgery! Woohoo! Now I'm off to clean Niq's place and mayhaps do my nails. 🤎
