Everyone with dogs needs to know how to do this, JUST IN CASE.  I have used the lease method on large dogs and I was able to manage it by myself.  You don't actually need a fancy leash - a regular one will do the trick.  Just loop the clippy end through the handle, then you can clip it anywhere or slam it in a door.  Bonus there is that it will tighten on them if they continue to pull.

Got home and showered.  I guess it's nail time.  I feel like I'm gonna let Mona loose while I do my nails.  She was just laying there in her cage, napping.  Gave me the stink eye when I opened it to check on her.  She'd probably like to run around and find a dark place to sleep, just so I can wake her up and piss her off later.  LOL  Seems to be our thing.

If I have time after Mona falls asleep I might even paint Tey's nails.  She likes to hang out, but the girls can't see each other.  It makes Mona crazy.  As if she's not crazy enough already.  😛

Having a lazy damn day.  Shaun is off doing his thing, Shadow isn't here, and so it's just me and the ani-pals.  Not yet out of my PJ's, and I don't see it happening soon.  Thinking I might order some fried rice and a sweet tea from House of Chen.  Will probably hang with Emma, play some Dr. Mario and do my nails.  By then, Shaun should be back, so maybe we can have a few hours to ourselves, finally.  Supposed to have been on vacation all week, but it sure hasn't felt like it.  I'm ready to relax!

Feeling pretty crappy.  Think my new IUD got knocked out of place.  I'll spare you the details about how that happened.  LOL  Been in some serious pain most of the day, and I'm no weenie.  Went back to the doctor, and he checked to make sure it was still where it should be.  Said it was and prescribed an anti-inflammatory / pain pill and basically told me to wait it out.  I never had problems with my first one until it was time to take it out.  I really don't know what's up with this one, but today I've had pain so sharp it takes my breath away.  My pill makes me drowsy.  All in all, this shit sucks.

Kind of hoping that the cramps are just it trying to get re-situated in there.  I don't know, but I do know I'm not living with this for long.  I have too much life to do.

Goodnight, Internet.  I'm going to bed.  At 10:00 on a Saturday.  With my nails half done.  🙁

So I was cleaning and listening to Pandora.  And I let Dumpy out, but he's a huge distraction and honestly, who can get ANYTHING done with a squirrel running up and down you and bouncing off your head?  Someone with more talent than me, that's who.

Ok, so I listen to that "crappy pop music" + comedy, and my original plan was to just turn the sound off of this video, but then I watched it and I JUST COULD NOT.  Let me just say that I did not edit this video at all.  First of all:  The first thing you hear when the video starts.  I know that was a sentence fragment, but WHAT?  I like that song, and if you don't know it, I suggest you Google Bo Burnham.  But that is a crazy lyric to start things on.  Just crazy.  And then at about the 2 minute mark - oh, the timings.  Just watch it.  😃  I didn't laugh out loud - I fucking cackled.  😃

Two pretty good photos of my Dunky Butt. You can't even tell, but I'd just made my bed and cleaned my room. He's been cracking and hiding pecans all over my bed, and I guess he tired himself out - for a moment, anyway. Long enough to snap a few cute shots of him. 😃

And no, he didn't do that to my curtains. Years ago when I had rats, they got ahold of my curtains through their cage. I don't change them because it doesn't bother me. Just memories of my sweethearts. I'd sacrifice those curtains a thousand times if it meant I could have my girls back. Possessions aren't more important than my friends. I don't understand that mentality. ❤

I am so lazy right now.  I was so lazy last night, too.  I was gonna paint my nails and stuff, but I ended up playing Dr. Mario for hours.  LOL  I did, at least, take off my chipping polish and cut and file my nails.  Now I have naked nubby nails!  I didn't mean to get them quite that short, but they were really long and bugging me and they'll grow back, so whatever.  And I moisturized the holy shit out of them, which they desperately needed.  Maybe I'll do that again today because they look healthy and happy right now.  🙂

I do plan to paint them later, though.  And I have two ideas, but I have no clue which one I should try first.  Both involve tape.  One idea involves a possible holo polish, and the other idea would use my new texture polish.  I guess since it's stormy and not sunny, a using a holo doesn't make sense.  I think I've found my answer!  So, what color goes nice with mint green?  I suck at colors.  😐

I WISH LIKE HELL my camera was working right now.  I've been hearing these crazy noises behind me, so I look back only to find Dumpy WRESTLING A STICK.  He is on his back, rolling around with a stick that is longer than he is.  He holds it vertically and nibbles it and kicks it.  Then sometimes, he gets it horizontally over his belly, and he's doing what looks like little fat squirrel sit-ups, trying to bite it.  HOLY.  COW.  He's hilarious.

Anyway, this is another holographic polish. This one came from bornprettystore when they were on clearance. It's more of a sheer coral color, but I layered it over a bright bubble gum pink to get this look. Holos are too pretty to cover up with a lot of other stuff, so I opted to put a flower water slide decal on one finger. Now I'm looking all girly today. 😃 And look at those rainbows! It shows the best on the middle finger. LOVE THAT. I'll be looking at my hands non-stop. 😃

I let Mona run loose in the game room today.  Pretty much for all day, and she seemed to have fun.  Later, she went to sleep in a spot that she likes.  She's been under there for HOURS.  So I thought it was time for me to tuck her in, seeing as how it's morning, and I'm tired.  When I tried to pick her up, she was pissed.  She showed me her beard, she hissed, she lunged at me and whipped me with her tail.  What a fit!  Maybe next time I'll just let her sleep through the night.  I think she'd be pretty safe in there, but I tend to be paranoid about my ani-pals.  I like to know where they are so I can be sure that they are safe.  I guess it might not kill me to loosen the reigns once in a while and stop killing everyone's fun.  LOL

Unfortunately, he's still for about 10 seconds, tops, before he's off running at the speed of light again.  In the last photo, he was just about all rested up, but it was the least blurry of the bunch.

Pardon the messy room.  The crate was for a visiting tortoise, and let's face it - anywhere there's a squirrel, there's chaos.  It's like a non-stop stream of "RUNclimbRUNchewRUNwrestleRUNknockthingsoverRUNstealyourfoodRUNlookallcuteRUNrestRUN" then rinse and repeat.  LOL

I haven't updated my special group of peeps I tell things to in a while.  I've still got my Dump baby.  Never heard back from the people who were going to take him.  He's still having trouble cracking hard nuts anyway, so he's not yet releasable according to them.  He comes out almost every day to play and get some exercise.  He's pretty sweet - just likes to wrestle my arms.  I wear a jacket but still get scratched up.  He can't help that he's so sharp.  😂😂😂

I've also got my two runt opossums, who, despite feeding a LOT of food to every day, seem to have hit a growth plateau of about 6 - 7 inches (not including their tails).  I've had them for months so that is odd.  They might truly be midgets.  Shaun says they look bigger to him, but they don't to me.  Could be because I see them everyday, but I feel like they are definitely little.  I guess I'll just keep an eye on them for now.  Maybe I'll get some photos of those guys soon.  🙂

After I bought that little bristlenose pleco I was SO HAPPY.  He cleaned the hell out of my tank and was pretty adorable.  But I found him dead this morning and Josie isn't looking great, either.  I'm gonna take her water to PetSmart to be tested today.  I put some stuff that is supposed to kill parasites and "ick" (whatever the hell that is) in her tank for now.  I hope she doesn't die.

Would it be a better idea to just move her to a fish bowl with some freshly prepared water?  She's in a 10 gallon now, but I don't think I have time to clean it out right now.  I have to get to an appointment.

He's also got a live plant now. 🙂

The downside:  He's staying hidden in the plant so I can't even photograph him.  😂😂😂

He's still in a tiny tank, but he's tiny so I don't think he cares.  Laurel's sending me a big froggie house in a couple of weeks so he'll get all hooked up and fancy soon.  I've never kept a frog that wasn't completely aquatic so I'm trying to figure out this whole half water / half ground thing.  So far I've just got his rocks piled up high on one side so he can get out of the water if he wants to.  He seems ok with that.  🙂

I was looking at my old blogs and noticed some photos missing.  They were linked to Myspace.  So I logged in to Myspace to see what was up, and it's like, not the same.  Everything is gone.  No blogs, no comments, nothing.

That was my life they just dumped.  Comments from friends, photos, writings... I don't know what to say.  I feel like I should have had the option to save my data somehow.  What the bloody hell?  I'm sad now.  🙁

Yeah... I just woke up.  😂😂😂  That's ok because my schedule for the last few weeks has been JACKED UP.  I really needed to get back on track so this is a good start.  🙂

No idea what to do with myself since I'm awake so early.  Maybe I'll clean my house, move my froggie, and cut some grass.  THEN do my nails.  Froggie and nails are definitely happening today - no matter what.  But the other stuff would be nice to have done.  I like it when my house and yard look... presentable at the least.  😃

Holy crap!  If I get my stuff done maybe I can walk my lizards!  I think I just got excited.  😃  Taking my girls outside is the BEST thing about the heat and sun.  They love it.  I don't, but I love them so it's TOTALLY WORTH IT.  😃

Polish freaks:  Get yourselves to Sally's NOW. They have the China Glaze Hologlam collection on clearance. I wouldn't pay full price for the amount of holo they are, but for cheapsies - HELL YES.

I'm surprised there are any left - the last time CG did holos they sold out fast and became a collectors item. Like, people went "$30 on ebay would get you a half empty bottle" kinda crazy. (Not me - in case you are wondering.)

I'm guessing they didn't sell out because they were over-priced and hyped WAY UP - so much that they were kind of a let-down. Honestly, they don't look like much in the store in the bottle, but get them out in the sun on your nails - and BAM. Rainbows. 😃 People who aren't crazy into polish probably didn't have a clue what was so special about these. I don't recall the display being particularly impressive.

Also, tons of other manufacturers are making holos now - much stronger ones, even, though you mostly have to buy them from other countries. Not that I shop in fancy stores much, but the only other place I've found a good holo was at Ulta. And I didn't $15 love it so I didn't get it then.

Anyway, me and Shaun both got some cheap awesome polish today. I guess you know what I'll be doing tonight! Happy Friday to me! 😃

Oh my gosh!  Mystery Tadpole barely has a tail left!  And his nose is getting more pointy!  Photos later today.  Maybe we can tell what he's going to be.  😃

Also, little bristlenose pleco has been BUSY.  You can see all of the places where he's cleaned the algae up.  I know I'll have to clean the tank more to keep his poops cleaned out, but at least I'll still be able to see in.  Scrubbing algae off the tank every few days is just crazy.

Anyway, off to work.  Feeling mostly normal-ish so far today.  😃

Those are usually things that I know about. How long do drugs last? I took my pills around 12:45. My head feels pretty clear. Lack of pain could be the Ibuprofen I took before falling asleep or left over Lortab in my system. No idea. No complaints - just curious.

I ate an ass ton of food with my pills so no nausea or anything else crazy or bad.  I had about 5 minutes of uncontrollable giggling and then I slept in the waiting room until I was called back.  That wasn't so bad.

Once I got back there Dr. Daniels told me that it was probably gonna hurt.  He asked me to not tell him because then he'd have to stop.  He's a softy.  🙂  I told him that I didn't even cry until he left the room last time, so no worries.  Also, I told him to do whatever he had to do to get it out because I don't have insurance or enough money to pay for a surgery.

He gave me a numbing shot and although he used more tools this time, and there was more blood, it was less painful than last time.  He did get it out and the string wasn't cut completely off - it was pushed back up into my cervix somehow.  I'm guessing the last doctor did that because I can't imagine that that happened on it's own.

Anyway, my new one is in and I'm good for 5 more years.  Hopefully, my hormones level out soon so I can stop with all the weepy and crazy.  All in all this whole ordeal wouldn't have been so bad if not for the infection, but a few weeks of "blah" is still a small price to pay (in my opinion) for 5 years of birth control I don't have to think about and 5 years of no periods or PMS.

Well, I'm really tired, and my guts are sore, and my head is a little bit wonky so I'm gonna rest for a while.  Maybe take a nap.  I just wanted to let y'all know that I survived and will hopefully be back to my version of "normal" soon.  ❤

Tomorrow I go back to Dr. Daniels for him to try to get my IUD out.  This time, with drugs.  🙁  He'd better try hard because if he can't get it out this time it means surgery... and I don't have the insurance or cash for all of that.

I'm nervous.  I'm nervous about the pills jacking me up.  I'm nervous because I hate to feel nauseated more than anything ever.  And I'm nervous because I'm worried that he won't be able to get it out.

My friends Laurel and Emily came and spent the day.  They are animal people, too, so it was really nice to be with people who GET ME on that level.  Unfortunately, it is so rare for me these days.  🙁  Y U NO LIVE CLOSE TO ME???!!!

We did lunch at Panera, and later went to Petco, and finished the night with some IHOP.  At Petco I got some plants and an albino bristlenose pleco for my betta tank.  I wanted one of those because they stay small.  My tank is right by a window, so I'm growing crazy amounts of algae.  😳  He will have plenty to eat.  🙂  Also, Laurel brought me a little tadpole.  We're not sure what kind he is.  He was shipped in with the goldfish where she works so she took him out.  I guess we'll see how he turns out.  That should be interesting.  He has arms, legs and a tail right now.  SO CUTE!

We hung out with the fur-kids, obviously, and Laurel brought her tortoise Clover - who is a FUCKING TRIP.  Such personality.  Just wow.  That girl is FUNNY.  😃  She definitely has to come back again.  I will just have to make sure I vacuum first.  She was all, "This dog hair and fuzz is MINE.  You can't have it.  I will put my head in my shell so you can't take it.  I WILL EAT ALL THE THINGS."  😂😂😂  Since my vacuum wasn't working I had to call Shaun and borrow his.  To keep the tortoise from being bad.  😃

Of course we did nails, and hung out, and talked, and watched movies... regular girl stuff, I guess.  But with animals so that made it x1000 better.  Ladies, we HAVE to do this again.  Come back anytime!  ❤

Just got a voicemail from Saks Middle School.  The high school will be serving breakfast (6:30 am) and lunch (noon) on Monday - Thursday for the month of June and part of July - FREE for people under the age of 18.  I think that is super nice and a really great thing to do, but I wonder what sparked it and how it's being provided.  Can't help but feel a little skeptical about freebies and nice things.  Gotta wonder what the catch is...

Internet, I feel like crap.  🙁  I'm on antibiotics for my guts infection.  I'm often nauseated due to the meds.  I'm crampy.  I'm sad.  I'm drained.

I have not been a happy camper for almost two weeks, and at this rate, I don't see it getting any better until after Monday.  If my shizz is still all jacked up by then, I'm starting to get worried that I won't be able to get a new IUD for a while.  🙁  Maybe my organs need a break.

I heard from Shadow's half-siblings that they were going to be in town so we set up a surprise meeting at Oxford Lake.  That was a big deal because he'd never met them before.  He and the kids seemed to have fun.  Me and Shaun brought pizza so we all had a little picnic.  Even shared with a few domineering ducks who just kept creeping closer and closer.

Then the kids played together while the rest of us talked at the table.  It was nice getting to know and talk in person to Berry.  We've talked on social media and the phone, but it's just not the same.  At one point we even got serenaded by an old hippie dude with a guitar.  😃  And some little boy took his pants all the way down in the sprinkler fountain thing.  Haha.  Kids are funny.

Since the weather was nice I brought Teyla and she was SO GOOD.  I tried to keep her mostly out of plain sight, but some kids saw her on my lap under the table and wanted to touch her.  They were gentle and she just let them.  That was pretty cool.  I love doing things, but anywhere I can have an ani-pal with me is immediately 1000% more better.  😃

Pooh came to visit before the day was over and he showed Shadow about making beats on his laptop.  Shadow has been recording things on his DS and laptop for a while, but he doesn't have a machine like that.  Maybe for his birthday or Christmas I can get him something similar.  I'm sure he'd love that.

All in all, it was a fun day.  Hot, but fun.  ❤  Time to relax and cool off now.  😃
