Yesterday at Wal-Mart...

Yesterday at Wal-Mart I rounded a corner and came face to face with a guy holding a Coke. This was our exchange:

This has just about gotten all it can from its mother leaf. I might put him in a tiny pot alone soon!

Fuzzy Chocolate Soldier babies appearing, and another baby who's about ready for his own teensy pot!

It's really hard to see in this crappy photo, but those two tufts are light green rather than white. I hope it's new cactus growth since these are just sad pieces that came from a rotten cactus. I know for sure that several are rooting, so paws crossed!

Not sure if that's a baby or a bloom growing from the middle of the large plant, but whatever it is, it's definitely new growth! ❤️

My day wasn't bad.

My day wasn't bad. Depression didn't get me. Shaun and I worked together around the house and got some things done. I still have a few days of work left to do on my list, but I'll get there.

I really really miss school. I'm sure my brain needs the break, but I think about the stuff I've learned as well as next semester every day. I'm probably going to see which books I will need in just a minute and get those on the way.

Also, I was in Jacksonville the other day with a friend and saw the new student rec center. HOLY WOW, it's huge. I can't wait to go check it out!

Depression has been tryna get me for a few days now. I don't want it. I think I'm not cut out for "down time." I'm about to drag my ass down this ladder and out of bed. I'm determined not to sit down until I get some things done so I can feel better.

19/25 of my plant booty seeds have sprouted. I don't think 2 of them are going to make it. 😢 But that's more than half that have sprouted and I think that's pretty cool.
