My extra squirrel milk, nipples, and syringes should be here today.  Just in time because it looks like I'll be getting two more babies this evening!  😃  That will be good for Dumplin'.  They aren't usually alone. 🙂

He has noticeably changed...

He has noticeably changed in the almost-week I've had him.  Wow.  And I just love to check on him and find him sleeping some crazy way.  He cracks me up.  😃

I don't know what is on his belly.  It's been on there since I got him and I've tried washing it off with plain water a few times - with no success.  I sniff him and it smells like bad milk, not pee.  The smell is not as strong as it was and it seems to be clearing up - whatever it is.  He does try to curl into a ball as soon as he's done eating, but I've been good about getting his mouth clean before he does that.  Maybe it's just old milk.  I don't even know, but I'm keeping an eye on it.  It doesn't seem to bother him, thank goodness.  🙂

This kid can't be convinced...

This kid can't be convinced to get out from under his heat lamp the last few days. It's so cold that I don't blame him. If I had a heat lamp, I'd be under it, too. ❤

I'd just woken him up and made him potty.

I'd just woken him up and made him potty.  I wanted to see if he would shake his tail for me before I fed him.  Once he eats he passes back out immediately, so I have a very small window of opportunity between potty and food to see him do things.  At the end it looks like he was giving up on food and getting to ready to go back to sleep anyway.  He's an infant, so he mostly just sleeps.  He's not too hard to take care of right now - I just have to be able to feed him every few hours.  Takes about 10 minutes to feed and butt-wipe him and then he's good until the next time.  I normally don't bother him unless it's time to eat - growing baby needs his rest.  🙂
