He is currently being equally adorable in my lap, but my camera is not in reach. 🙁 I'm not gonna disturb him just to get it. 🙂

I gotta wonder if Dumplin' is trying to tell me something...
I gotta wonder if Dumplin' is trying to tell me something whenever he climbs my chest, suddenly flips around with his cute little rump in the air (pointed at my face), and looks over his shoulder at me.
Yes, it's the cutest little butt ever, but I don't really need a close-up. 😂
He's getting really mobile and funny. He likes to climb all over and play in my pockets. Silly boy. 🙂

Friends: I need your help. Nothing major - I promise!
I've decided that I need a car. I have $2000 (in the bank - not on me! Don't came at me in the alley) that I can spend. No - not on a down payment. TOTAL.
I realize that's not gonna get me a shiny new perfect car, but it will get me something that I'm not scared to be in. Something that might give me a little bit of my freedom back. Nobody wants to let me go anywhere because they worry that I might get stranded. Shaun won't ride with me anywhere because if I do get stranded then who would come and get us? My mom (most likely), but she's farther away and I hate doing that to her.
REQUIREMENTS:
MUST HAVE at least 4 doors and a MANUAL transmission.
WOULD LIKE TO HAVE what I will happily refer to as a "dog compartment." I do not want a trunk. I'd like a hatch or a wagon or tiny SUV.
I have found a few things that are OK (meaning they are sticks, but regular cars - no dog compartment) by searching Craigslist and the Buy / Sell Bulletin. Seems like manual transmissions are hard to come by these days. 🙁
I will continue to keep an eye on the internet and buy / sell, but I would also like for you to keep your eyes and ears open for me. It's NOT an emergency so I will give it a few months before breaking down and buying just an ok, regular car. I thought that maybe if I was patient I could find something with a dog compartment. I've only been looking for about a week so I am far from discouraged. I am, however, pretty sad that almost everywhere I look the cars are automatic. LAME. 😳

Finally, I am heading to bed.
Finally, I am heading to bed. This had been the longest damn Monday. I don't think I was ready for my weekend to be over. 😐 Also, I haven't felt great all day and that hasn't changed yet. Blegh.
On a brighter note - I made a gallon of water crystals for my roaches today. Poor things were stuck eating the last of my cricket jelly and they did NOT seem fond of that. I definitely have babies which is AWESOME. 😃 I feel like they do a lot better when I'm not fussing over them, but they are just so darn neat. 😳 I want to look at them all the times! 😍
Dumplin' is doing great and getting bigger. I feel like he's bigger every time I look at him. 😳 I ordered him some big boy food today so I should have that in a few days. I gave him some sweet potato to nibble on, but he doesn't seem very into that yet. I suppose with time he will come to enjoy it.
Aside from critter stuff I guess the only other nice thing about today was dinner at Los Arcos with Shaun and Shadow. I love the food, but I really hate it when Eric isn't working. Eric just waves us over to a table and writes down what we want from memory. Eric always makes my day. 😃 The guy we had tonight walked by us several times when we were out of drinks or chips or whatever and stopped to watch the wrestling match on the TV for several minutes at a time rather than pay attention to us. I feel like one of those crotchety old ladies for complaining, but dang. It's annoying as hell. I didn't complain to management or anything - just to Shaun and whoever is reading this. And we did leave him a tip. I really felt like writing something snarky on it, but I didn't. I'm not mean enough for that. I just avoid that guy and ask for Eric every time we go in. Unfortunately, Eric was off today.
Only other noteworthy thing is that I did my nails today. They are doggie themed. I guess they are cute, but I'm not impressed. I have been too tired / crappy all day to be impressive. Oh well. Pics tomorrow, I suppose.
