Oh my gosh, my cat is making the weirdest sounds right now.  She's purring, meowing, squeaking, trilling, "herro"ing...  What in the world does she have to say?  I have to go and check on her.  LOL

It was Midna! That's so weird. Usually Snaga is the noisy one. I guess she was just in a talkative mood. LOL

I'm not really into holidays, but I'm TRYING to be festive. LOL These are really sparkly, but it's been so cloudy that I haven't been able to get a good photo of them. 🙁 Oh well. You probably get the idea. 😛

Apologies to my Christian friends, but talking to your imaginary friend doesn't solve anything.  "Letting god back in schools" wouldn't have stopped this tragedy.  He's allowed in movie theaters, after all, and that didn't stop the Aurora psycho.

I mean, I WILL say that I could totally understand how it might be comforting to think that dude is burning in hell right now.  But I believe he's right back where he was before he existed, whatever that was.  He probably doesn't have a care in the world right now.

Anyway, all that to say that this message I received from the superintendent this morning REALLY, REALLY annoys me.  No, I don't want dude to pray.  I don't want the other parents to pray.  How about stationing more cops at the schools?  DUH.  Actual action trumps a prayer any day.  WE have the power.

Shadow is entirely too cool for me. You can just see that he's all like, "Really? You're really gonna make me take a picture right now? Fiiine." LOL

This is him all dressed up for the dance tonight. I'm just glad he gets to go. And I'm glad he's able to give me this crazy face and that "You're totally lame, mom" attitude. You know, because he wasn't shot up in class today or anything.

Just watched The Hobbit with Shaun.

Just watched The Hobbit with Shaun.  I wore my awesome new 2D glasses.  No, not just glasses.  Glasses that turn 3D movies back into 2D so that I don't die of migraine and nausea. LOL  I got them on ThinkGeek, but there are also DIY tutorials online.  I can't vouch for how those turn out, but I watched the movie with no trouble tonight.  Woohoo!

It was pretty good.  Hell, I'm awake so that's saying a lot.  😃  (I'm not a big movie-watcher and often fall asleep.)  Now to wind down and take myself to bed.
